Great location, great price

For the location, the price is great. Easy to walk just about anywhere you'd want to downtown. Only drawback is not many amenities. Valet staff was great.

Thank you

Everything was wonderful, as usual and very comfortable. The only issue we had was being asked to pay $10.00/day for internet service. This is something that should be included in the reservation, as we all know, WiFi is not an expensive accommodation and one that, this day in age, should be a given. It inhibited the ability to work from the room. I did not purchase it out of principle, therefore had to go to local coffee shops off-site and it was an inconvenience. Other than that everything was very nice.

Great downtown location

Great location for downtown shopping, most stores a short walking distance. There is no hotel parking, however, only valet parking, which was an additional $30 a day.

Nice hotel, good price, great location

Stayed here while attending a weekend conference, and saved about $80 over what I would have had to spend at the hotel hosting the conference (Embassy Suites). The room was very nice, the staff was helpful and courteous, and perhaps best of all, there's a great Italian restaurant right across the street. Will stay here again next time I'm in Portland.

Convenient Downtown Location

This hotel was in a great central downtown location, Close to the MAX station, shopping and a short walk to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. The staff was friendly and helpful, letting us check in early and keeping bags for us after check out.

Not coming back

My wife and I stayed there for one night. I was very surprised at the good ratings other clients had given this hotel. I didn't find it to be so. I was expenting Marriot quality which is what I paid for. The room was very small and extremely noicy. The carpet was very old and the room had an unbearable smell of Lysol cleaner. The walls are very poorly insulated. You can hear conversation from all the rooms around. There was a constant noice or plumbing pipes shurning the whole night. Very anoying. It was hard to sleep. I have experienced better rooms at Motel 6 before for about a quarter of the cost. Obviously, this is not a place I am ever comming back. The staff was very friendly.
