Dining

Altabira City Tavern
Perched high above the Eastside, Altabira City Tavern provides spacious rooftop dining with sweeping views of the downtown Portland skyline and Willamette River. The beer-centric menu pairs regional American cuisine with local craft brews, Northwest wines, and locally distilled spirits. Hotel guests and regulars can mingle around the rooftop patio's glowing fire pits or relax in the restaurant's chic, modern interior.
Citizen Baker
On the lobby-level of Hotel Eastlund, Citizen Baker is Chef Machado's bakery/cafe/wine bar, serving freshly baked artisan breads and European pastries alongside creative fresh soups, salads and sandwiches. Each day at happy hour, the space transitions from a neighborhood cafe into a casual, cozy wine bar. Gourmet coffee from Portland's Ristretto Roasters, as well as a carefully chosen selection of wines by the glass, are available day and night, seven days a week.

Red Lion Review

Hotel was average. All of the hotels around the convention center needs some updating. It was fine but not spectacular by any means. Staff was nice, free internet, water was hot and pressure was fine, free parking, closest to the convention center and lite rail.

Budget hotel

The Red Lion convention center hotel was like an old budget hotel, pedestal fan for air circulation, outdated furnishings and bathroom. The front desk guy was nice but the lobby is not something you would want to hang out in. It is near Lloyd Center.
