It was good
It's what you would expect form a large chain hotel. Front staff was attentive but not pleasant. The maid came into our room and disturbed our nap, which was strange because our hotelroom had already been cleaned several hours earlier. The experience left me a little uneasy. $10.00 for wifi and $20 for parking is ridiculous! I felt like it's just a another way for a big chain hotel to milk you for more money. All in all, great place and location (Would give 3.5 stars). Within waling distance to many of Portland's great restaurants and pubs.

Fitness
If fitness is an important part of your travels, Hilton has the best fitness facility we've ever experienced...a large selection of cardio equipment, free weights, medicine balls, and so much more; a separate stretching/exercise room; a 2-lane lap pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room. The fitness center and the convenient location to the MAX light rail are what will be bringing us back to Portland Hilton.

Relaxing getting!
The staff was very professional. The bistro had fresh and yummy food. The room was always clean. I would have prefered a non-handicapped bathroom but a big space just the same. I love to take a bubble bath! The location was in the heart of the city close to everything by foot. Liked that we could use the pool and get our work in everyday.Looking forward to my next visit and know just where I will stay. We had a great Thanksgiving with you all. See you soon.

You have to pay for everything
No free wifi, which I found out after returning late at night. The room was nice, but not that run away better than a Motel 6. Breakfast was $9 per person, but it was great.

Weekend in Portland
From the minute we walked in, it was great. The location was great - just a block from Courthouse Square, Director Square, parks, trains and buses, and not too close that we heard any of them too much. The room was great - very comfortable and clean, with a great view - huge windows facing south and west (beautiful sunsets). One disappointing thing was the gym - I was surprised there was an additional fee to use it, except the pool was free. Another lack I thought was some comfy lobby seating that was near a window. All the lobby chairs were in the middle of the building. I instead sat on the floor under a window near the conference rooms (no conference activity that day) instead of the lobby chairs. The staff was great: We had an issue with the TV remote and Engineering came by with a new remote within 10 minutes when we called them. All in all it was a great stay.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
For an afternoon snack (coffee, muffin and beer for our various tastes), the concierge was instantly able to recommend The Flying Elephant. The food is inexpensive and tasty.
