Good Hotel for the Price/ Watch Parking Spots
Nice continental breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff. Only complaint:The hotel will rent their parking spaces for park-n-fly customers. You may not get a parking space if you come back in the evening to the hotel.

What you'd expect
the staff was nice and got the job done but looked a little unprofessional. The room was normal size but had older carpet which givesmthe room an old cheap feeling. Location is great for the airport. Bed was clean, but just had average comfort. Overall wasn't better or worsemthan imexpected, it was comfortable overall.

Great overnight stay
Stayed one night. Everything clean and quiet, close to the airport. Breakfast was better that most. Would stay here again.

Good enough.
The hotel was clean and the furnishings were newish. It was absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. Breakfast was bland but plentiful. Nothing special, but I would stay there again if I had to.

Take the 205 to 500 East to Namaste, an excellent, excellent Indian buffet place. The food there is fabulous!

Layover for fantastic family getaway
The only reason I downgraded this is because of the parking situation. Parking is deplorable.

excellent value, high quality
My flight got in late at night so I needed a place to stay before driving home in the morning. I chose the Fairfield Inn because of the great price, expecting it would be clean and hopefully comfortable but nothing to write home about. I was pleasantly surprised -- all the furnishings, carpets, etc. were nice and new, the bed was really comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful! I would definitely choose the Fairfield next time I travel through Portland.

Comfy and clean
A friendly welcome and easy check in. A clean room with comfortable beds. Better than usual free breakfast, even my wife with coeliac was able to eat.

Very nice place to stay
The staff are very friendly and the room is clean and best of all is the shuttle bus service between airport and hotel is excellent. We will stay there again if we visit next time.

Great price for the Digs!
This was a quick trip down to Portland to do some specific shopping. Since we went down there to save some money in the first place, didn't make a lot of sense to spend a lot for a room. We were extremely surprised to not only pay a lot less, but the room we had was one of the larger suites. And to top it off we added to our frequent points for this hotel chain! Free cookies! Lots of pillows, newer tv, and Free goodies at breakfast! Doesn't get any better than this :>)

Several choices to walk from the hotel to eat. Very safe area.
