You get what you pay for
The hotel is conviently located across the street from a "gentleman's club." They are remodeling the rooms. We awoke Saturday morning to the thumps from hammers in the room next door. The remodel process had started in our room, but was not completed. Although carpet had been replaced, the walls showed the scars from the removal of old carpet where big chunks of sheetrock paper had been pulled from the wall and not repaired or painted. The new bathroon was bright but, again, the walls had not been painted. There will soon be mold and water damage on the shower wall since the new shower fixture has a leak that spays water on the wall. The room was inexpensive and adequate for our needs...we just needed a place to sleep for one night. Avoid this hotel if you're prone to depression; it could drive you over the edge.
