very handy to MAX
Very handy to all max trains and bus's we liked the location and price for that. It is not really close to the airport and the manager is very grumpy, un smiling, surly and grouchy. Our room was very clean and updated. We would stay here again.

OK at best
Not bad, but not great either. Early check in was at extra $$, I have recently stayed in other comparable hotels and early check in was free. I have a friend that smokes and the owner rudely advised "YOU BETTER GET A SMOKING ROOM". Smoking rooms smelled, not horrible but not great. Breakfast was on the very poor side. We only stayed at this hotel to be close to the light rail. I would suggest staying at the other days inn in Portland.

Nothing extraordinary, but agreeable
For the price, this motel is quite reasonable. The stay was nothing remarkable, but provided the necessary warm bed and clean shower. Its location was also fairly convenient, being just a couple minutes from the MAX train station. Also in the vicinity are a couple great restaurants, namely, Pho Oregon! and Baiyok Thai Cuisine. Overall stay was satisfactory.

Our stay at Days Inn in Portland
The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. We had been there in March and decided to return because it was close to the airport, was clean, convenient and affordable. We did not spend that much time in the room because we spent most of the time at the OHSU Hospital where my brother is recovering from a bone marrow transplant. We will stay there again if we have to return to Portland for further visits while my brother is recovering from the bone marrow transplant.
