Great downtown hotel!
Came to Portland for a friend's bachelor party. We wanted to stay somewhere downtown to be close to the bars and clubs, so this hotel was a great fit. The staff was friendly and recommended several places to go. We weren't in hotel for long, basically just needed a place to sleep, but the rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable.

Decent hotel in a good location
There was a big discount when I booked this hotel, and it was well worth the discounted price. It wasn't fancy but it was in a convenient location. The beds were comfortable. If you're just looking for a place to crash while you enjoy downtown Portland, this is a good option. There was a hairball near the sink but everything else appeared clean. You have to scan your room key to use the elevators and their card reader wasn't great.

Non-smoking hotel
While Orbitz indicated that this hotel did not have a smoke-free policy, it does. The entire hotel is non-smoking so, if you smoke, don't stay here unless you don't mind going downstairs to smoke outside. This did teach me, however, that Orbitz's information is not always accurate and that I should double-check the information on the website before booking.
