Courtyard by Marriott Portland Airport

We loved our stay at this hotel. It was a great experience for us. Free starbucks coffee in the lobby was a nice touch. I especially loved the fitness room and worked out everyday.

Close to airport, clean rooms, comfortable beds and hospitable. Thanks.

Pleasantly welcomed by a clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff...no problems at all! Online reservation went well, and we were quickly given our keys ~ which was great after driving 4 hours. Our room was very clean, and very comfortable! Sheets were soft, bed was quite comfortable...and the shower curtain had a rounded shower rod (a definite plus so that the curtain doesn't stick to your legs), and a nice shower-head with water pressure! Very impressed that we got that nice of a room for the price!! We will absolutely be staying there again.

close to everything. dining,shopping, and airport. A swimming pool is always a must when you have kids. Rooms were clean and spacious. Fridge & microwave would be nice

Convenient to the airport. Was surprised at how well it was decorated and how comfortable it was. No outside noise.

Went to visit my Dad and brother in Portland didn't want to impose so stayed here. Planes do fly right overhead, so unless you sleep as if in a coma, or cannot hear, you will wake up. Little picky, I know, but I like a firm plump pillow, couldn't find anything with any height above 1-2 inches for pillows had them replaced, still nothing. The bar and cafe are new, they are nice but pricey and small. Workers there were friendly.

While they are remodeling, they have a VERY tacky set up in a ballroom. It felt very unprofessional. It didn't look like the remodeling was adding anything substantial."Lobby" Staff was distracted and seemed a bit snobby. Cleaning staff excellent.[...]

Everything was great. The hotel is remodeling the front desk area, which wasnt an issue as the end result will obvisouly be better than before. The room was good size and had everything needed for a quick night stay. The toilet seat bolt/nut was broken which made it loose and floppy. There was also a water dripping a noise, which appeared to be coming from the toilet/tank. Closing the bathroom door fixed the noise. :) The breakfest was decent and consisted of biscuit/gravy, scambled eggs, baked goods, fruit, cereals/oatmeal, coffee and juices.

The hotel was clean and quiet within but its location along a major freeway and busy streets made for some noise. The clerk had trouble getting off a personal call to check us in. Although the hotel was definitely NOT busy, she put us in a street-facing room (noisy) which we ended up changing for a backside room. The room was clean but there was no information about the hotel - not even on the t.v. services. The bathroom sink was in the entry way. The bedding was totally inadequate - a very thin blanket was all. The pillows were good however. Didn't eat there but Shari's across the street is a great family restaurant and rescued what would have been a very sub-par stay.

our stay was during the snow/ice storm in December when so many travelers where stranded in Portland area. The hotel and staff were very helpful to us during this chaotic time. We would deffinately reccomend it.
