Clean comfortable room
I stayed at this hotel with my daughter and both my parents. The location was ok, the area was not the best, but the hotel always seemed safe. The pool stayed open 24 hours so that was nice. Great breakfast. This is a good hotel for the price.

Mount Tabor was not far away. Beautiful trees and views with a network of trails that provided great hiking without driving to the country.

easy access airport
I stayed for a weekend when I was passing through Portland. Access to and from the airport is quick and easy (airport shuttle) or MAX and 5-10 mins walk. I used MAX to get into downtown Portland city (approx 25 mins). Hotel was very clean and comfortable, with good breakfast (started early, which suited me), helpful staff, and had all amenities I wanted.

Perfect for the need
We just needed a place to stay the night after a long flight. This hotel was the perfect choice. So good that we stayed another night before our return flight.

PORTLAND VISIT
I THOUGHT THAT THE ROOM WAS VERY NEAT AND CLEAN. ROOM WAS PROMPTLY CLEANED EACH MORNING WHEN I WENT DOWN TO BREAKFAST AND RESTOCKED. BREAKFAST WAS FREE & GREAT!! EVEN BETTER THAN SOME BREAKFASTS THAT I HAVE PAID FOR. THE HOTEL SHUTTLE PICKED ME UP AND TOOK ME BACK TO THE AIRPORT PROMPTLY!! WHAT KEPT ME FROM GIVING THIS A BETTER RATING WAS THE POOL. I WAS THERE FOR 5 DAYS AND THE POOL WAS GREEN THE WHOLE TIME. MY SON, DAUGHTER IN LAW AND GRANDSON CAME DOWN FROM SEATTLE & I PAID FOR A ROOM FOR THEM FOR SAT. NIGHT. THEY SAW THERE WAS A POOL & TOOK THEIR BATHING SUITS. MY DAUGHTER IN LAW WENT IN WITH MY GRANDSON BECAUSE THEY TOLD HIM OF THE POOL AND DID NOT WANT TO DISAPOINT HIM. IT NEEDED EITHER MORE CHLORINATION OR AN ALGAECIDE. FOR A POOL THAT SIZE, THE ALGAECIDE WOULD HAVE WORKED OVERNIGHT. I SHOUD HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT IT WHEN I FIRST NOTICED IT BUT, TO BE HONEST, I THOUGHT THE HOTEL WOULD HAVE TAKEN CARE OF IT. THE BACTERIA IN THE POOL FROM ALGAE IS IMPORTANT TO NOT BUILD UP. I WOULD DEFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN BUT I WOULD CALL THE HOTEL AND TELL THEM ABOUT THE POOL.

more than we expected
We were so pleased with this stay! The staff were very friendly...everyone said hello to us. The front desk person was fun to speak to. The breakfast was great! The pool and hot tub were perfect!

good night sleep with friendly staff and good breakfast, During night, someone from inside hotel kept calling room, had to unplug phone. also "do not disturb" sign stolen. while checking out, clerk stated he would adjust bill but since I had used a travkl site, was unable to.
