It was clean, comfortable, and
It was clean, comfortable, and quiet...everything we want in a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised because it was such a bargain!

In the 90"s AC didn't work
The lamp shade fall off when I turned the light on. To plug my curling iron in I had to climb up on to the sink counter and plug it in. AC didn't work.I open the door as much as possible to let the cool air in

Good Value
Room was clean and contained a small microwave and small fridge. Bathroom recepticle is inconvieniently place above the mirror. Don't recommend streetside rooms. On Wednesdays a very noisy streetcleaner drives down the street at 5:30 am.

Awful
This hotel is nothing short of 'scary'. We did not even stay, moved to a different hotel. The entire hotel looked like something out of a horror movie.

OK Stay
The Staff was pleasant enough. Average accomodations for the price. The plumbing was out of order due to some hunters using the sink to clean their game birds! Go figure! Other than that it was really unremarkable. I was a little surprised to find the charges on my bank statement two days before I even arrived.

OneDayStay
We didnt stay long in the room itself as we were there for the sites, taking the charm trail. The location of the hotel was great for seeing the sites. When we were ready to settle in for the night, we were unable to get into the hotel room. The weather had caused the doors to swell and our keys would not work. The staff allowed us to stay in an adjacent room while we waited for the manager to arrive. The manager was able to fix the problem within 20 minutes. The continental breakfast was very small, a few muffins and apples with coffee or juice to drink.

very comfortable, surprisingly quiet
My only complaint is that the room was quite stuffy when I first arrived. That aside, the location, right downtown, was wonderful, and surprisingly, very quiet. I was able to walk everywhere, including downtown and along the River Walk on the Umatilla River, only 1 1/2 blocks from my room. The Walk extends along the entire north side of Pendleton.I would certainly stay at the Knights Inn any time I am in Pendleton. The price is exceptionally low for the accommodations and convenience.
