Weekend Getaway

Disappointed to find out that the pool, spa, and exercise room were closed for maintenance. Had a hard time keeping room at a comfortable temperature.

Great Experience

The room was fresh and clean. Loved the fireplace in the room. The breakfast was very good with good variety. The pool / spa was down for maintenance but not that big a negative. We would stay there again.

Customer service lacking

While our trip was enjoyable, we booked this location after concidering many, because of their pool, spa and related facilities. Upon check-in, we were informed that all of these facilities were closed for maintnance or upgrades? Booking with an online website only days before, we were not made aware of this by said site. No concideration was made by the hotel due to third party booking. We probaply will not book through said web site or stay at this hotel again

Beautiful room.

Loved this room, beautifully decorated suite with a very comfortable king size poster bed, kitchenette & sink w/granite, gas fireplace, good sized tv, private balcony right on the ocean, ceiling fan, breakfast was convienently across the hall from our room on 3rd floor as was the icemaker, fresh baked cookies in evening, covered parking, friendly staff, only drawback was only one elevator, wanted to stay more than one night, would definitely come back again.

A nice getaway

This is our annual anniversary and birthday getaway where we do some outlet mall shopping in Lincoln City and play at the casino too. We always look forward to this two day us time. Our only hurdle was that there was inconsideration of other guests on our floor and management had to handle the matter by phoning everyone late on April 5th. It was unfortunate.

Great place for a short stay

My girlfriend and I needed a weekend away. This was our second time at the Elizabeth Street Inn. It's located on a bluff - every room has a balcony overlooking the shore. Walking distance from Nye Beach - cool little shops and some interesting food options (recommend Cafe Mundo if you like eclectic atmosphere). Walked along the shore from Nye Beach to the picturesque Newport Bridge. Very scenic beach. Had a great couple of hours at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Enjoyed a good bottle of bourbon next to the gas fireplace in the room. Old town Newport is a great place to walk too. Recommend Local Ocean restaurant - its at the far end of the street. Really couldn't spend more than two or three days in Newport, but it's a good place to use as a base for day trips, I suppose. The hotel is friendly and although it doesn't have a restaurant, they provide a good free breakfast and serve complimentary clam chowder and fresh baked cookies every day. Comfy beds and non-cheesy decor. Our room had a kitchenette. The big downsides are the SLOW elevator and staying right across from the breakfast room (hearing the waffle-maker timer going off every so often). We would go back - around $150 per night is a good price for balcony views of the coast (falling asleep to the sound of the ocean).
