Adequate
The SHILO was a notch above a Motel 6. It just felt old and tired - in need of a sprucing up. See full review

I chose this for the price and the fact that they advertised that they had a hot tub on Shilo Inn's website. No functioning hot tub. Also no hair dryer in our room as advertised too.
Found hair that wasn't any of ours in sink. TV is an old CRT
type with bad reception.
Beds and furniture are decent. WI-FI was quick.

Need to modernize
The overall hotel was okay. Rooms weren't horrible but weren't good either. The rooms and hotel look like they hadn't been update in quite some time. I haven't been to a hotel in a while that still uses regular keys instead of card keys.

nice accomodations
Not much in the way of amenities but a comfortable room and a good deal. The waffles for breakfast smelled delicious.

Family's first visit to washington
We stayed in Shilo, Meford OR on our way back to California. Everything was okay except that it was advertised and re-confirmed by the staff upon our check-in, the hotel is equipped with wireless connection for internet, no password needed.
Frustrating enough, it was not true in 3rd floor where we stayed. My daughter cannot connect to the internet to do her college stuff. We need to go down and stay at the front desk to be able to be connected to internet. Its so frustrating since we need to be relaxed in our room while needing to do things on the computer and we were not able to do that.

Easy to find, walk to shopping, safe and clean
Location close to freeway interchange allowed checking in while still leaving time to take care of other stops nearby in town. Major grocery and retail stores a simple walk from hotel. Had the convenience of a refrigerator and microwave.

acceptable place
The staff are the best asset of the place. They are very helpful and friendly.
The location can be confusing because of the roadway configuration...new to the area...rental vehicle...at night...wow! Where was that place? And...how do I get there
from here? Not too bad after the first few tries.

Nothing fancy, but not too shabby either
The breakfast was good (especially the waffles). The hotel staff was friendly and very efficient. An inexpensive, convenient good night's sleep.
