Place to sleep

Nothing really special about this location, either good or bad. The price was reasonable and the room pretty much ordinary. A fair distance from downtown with a few places to eat within walking distance. Staff was helpful in describing where restaurants were with type of eating in each

ok for the price

stayed here while visiting wine country. nicely located, large room. dorm sized frig and micro. hotel advertised wifi, but this was largely unavailable, and when it was (after alerting staff to problem), it was snail speed/low signal - and we were close to the office. in all fine, but would have preferred not to even have had the expectation of wifi.

This motel is within easy driving distance to the Evergreen Air & Space Museum and is in route to the Coast. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants close by.

A Good Deal

We were there to enjoy my 50th high school class reunion. The motel's location was just right for the activities we attended. The only disappointment was the Continental breakfast, which was Little Debbie muffins and juice. (One could make a waffle.) A better selection of bakery muffins and some fresh fruit would have been a little better. The staff, however, was friendly and helpful, and the place was well cared for, clean and attractive.

Good Value

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were just remodeled and shower had amazing water pressure. Breakfast was only muffins/coffee/juice. There was supposed to be waffles, but the machine was broken. Other then breakfast hotel was perfect for a place to stay for the night.

Safari Motor Inn McMinniville

Rooms where really big, new and clean. The outside looked a little rough and there was only one set of steps for the second floor. It looks like they were working on the other two steps. I would stay here again and I would recommend Safari to a freind.
