Good economy stay

Did not care for the so called french coffee machine. Would rather have a conventional coffee maker. Lights in the bathroom could have been brighter.

Perfect for couples

My girlfriend and I were extremely impressed by the great deal we got..The staff was warm and inviting and the rooms were very comfortable. Walking into the room felt more like walking into a home then a hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the continental breakfast was great..so much to choose from and very good. In the 20 plus years staying at the coast this is now my first choice..My gal was extremely happy with everything and any guy who surprises his girl with a night there will get huge brownie points

vacation at the Oregon coast

Hotel was average. It was not what I was expecting after seeing their website. I thought it was going to be a little more posh than it was. Room was small, and very warm. We kept our windows opened the whole night to try and keep it cooler. The view and the sound of the ocean was awesome, though.

A relaxiing week by the sea

We had a nice view of the ocean, a comfortable bed, good service, nice breakfasts and a wonderful friendly staff. This made for a very relaxing week. I would definitely go there again. There is much to do in Lincoln City. It was a great week.

Sightseeing and relaxation

Queen suite with a lonely view of ocean. My sister and I loved our stay here for 2 nights. Was windy and fog set in early but was well worth it. Only one thing I can complain about was the bay window was grity and a little hard to take pictures, but liked the fact we could open window on sides to heard the sounds of the ocean.

Came in from Portland and Drove down the coast to Newport and back in time to eat at Kyllo's. Nice family resturant to eat breakfast on the way out of town (Hilltop Inn)

Great getaway

The room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The fresh ground coffee and french press was a nice touch. The beach view, once the fog cleared, was fantastic and access to the beach was close and convenient. We walked everywhere we wanted to go - dinner, beach, shopping and even the bar after dinner for some pool and drinks. The only downer of the entire weekend for us was waking up earlier than desired to the sounds of the cleaning crews getting supplies from the supply closet, which we were (un)lucky enough to have located right next to our room.

Blackfish Cafe was fantastic. It's 13 (fairly short) blocks from the hotel. Make sure you make reservations.

What's the fuss?

Fabulous view and good breakfast layout, but that's where it ends. The room was advertised as a "King Deluxe Studio" but it was just a room with a king bed & pull out couch. Awkwrdly decorated. Tray of overpriced goodies. Bodum coffee pot with nowhere to put the grounds and nowhere near to plug in the water. There wasn't even a pad and pen to write with. To top it off, its Saturday morning around 8:30 am and the manager is standing right outside our window discussing the gutters with the maintenance guy. Definitely not worth the price.
