Not what I was thinking.
They told me the hotel was steps away. It is, you have to cross a busy street then go out a little way to the beach. They gave me a ocean front view, but they fogot to tell me there would be other hotels to look at also. Also the staff was not willing to ask all of our questions and was very rude to us. The kids and I used the hot tub and we got yelled at for nt using the right towels. The free breakfest was not good at all even the eggs werent hard boiled enough. Overall I would not stay at this hotel again.

Balcony? You've got to be kidding me!!
Hotel advertises an oceanfront balcony... ha! There is a concrete pad maybe 6 inches by 4 feet hardly big enough to stand on. Also it is across the road from the beach so the ocean view is a little hard to see.. it works i guess. But doesn't live up to its advertisement! Also our sliding door, toilet, and shower drain were all broken. And there was bird poop covering the sliding door.

Not much good to say
When a chihuahua sinks into the bed, you know you are in for a restless night's sleep. The whole place just had a negative feel about it. It was way overpriced, staff was unfriendly, beds were bad, breakfast was seriously limited; all carbs, no amenities to speak of. Views of the ocean weren't too bad, lovely river behind, not a bad location.

News Years 2011 at Lincoln city Inn
The front desk clerk was kind enough to move us from lakeside to ocean side at no extra charge for our second night. However, the male front desk clerk, was inattentive and rude. The hot tub is clearly labeled open at 8am. At 12:38 my girlfriend and I went down to the hot tub, we noticed it was locked. We asked the front desk clerk if we could go hot tubbing and he stated it was not open yet as he still had to put chemicals in the tub. He then advised us it would be 'a while'. There were no other customers in the lobby and the employee appeared to be doing nothing. We came back down at 1:30 on our way out the door noticing the hot tub was still closed and there were now 2 front desk employees with no other customers around.

Not so Good!
The hotel is right across the road from the beach so it was an easy walk to the beach. We had some view of the beach from the room. The carpet had quite a few dirty spots and the overall appearance of the room was uninviting. The DVD player wouldn't work but someone came right away and changed out the cords and then it was ok. It was an older TV with terrible sound control. We love Lincoln City and enjoy the beach, shopping, and great food available, however,the continental breakfast in the hotel was pretty limited. The breakfast breads they served tho were very good.

Lincoln City Inn
Good location. VERY friendly staff. Just across the street from the beach. Only double queen rooms on the beach side while single king beds are lakeside. Paid just a little more for the double side but definitely worth being able to see the ocean.

The Lincoln city Inn, is clean, staff was friendly, nice location. The sign outside the building said 49.99 a room, paid more offline purchase.
