Best price so we will be back
We have stayed the Lincoln City Motel 6 before, numerous times. I always bring my own pillow because I am picky like that. My hubby said the pillows were the worst he has ever used in a hotel. So bring your own from home. This was the first time that I have found sand in my supposedly clean bed. I called the front desk and within five minutes, they had sent the head housekeeper up to apologize and change the entire bed's sheets. Also, apparently we stayed in a pet-room so my husband did get bitten by fleas five times but they gave us a $26 refund for the trouble. I guess that, if you don't have a pet, ask to stay in a non-pet-room to avoid that. Overall, I will still keep staying at Motel 6. I expect a little trouble (like uncomfortable pillows and beds) because it is a cheap stay. And they did make right what was wrong so we were happy.

Make sure you go to Mo's Seafood Restaurant on the south side of Lincoln City and bring home their clam chowder base. All you do is add milk when you get it home and it tastes just like the beach, in a good way. :)

It was okay nothing special... The rooms were very simple, be sure to take your own shampoo!! on the plus side there was a micro and fridge.

Bring your own amenities, but still a good place
I know Motel 6 is not a posh hotel chain. Even so, I've never before stayed at a place that didn't come with little bottles of shampoo/lotion. The room didn't even have an alarm clock. Even so, the staff was helpful and the room comfortable. Tip: If you stay here, ask for a room on the side away from the highway. The hotel is right on 101.

The McMenamin's brew pub was overcrowded, very noisy, and the staff frankly said they were overwhelmed and it would take 40 minutes to get served. The Lil Sambo's restaurant was just across the road from the hotel; the service was amazingly fast and the food was cooked exactly as I'd asked for.

Clean, roomy, simple and friendly
We stayed at Motel 6 in Loncoln City, Oregon. The room was clean with plenty of space for our family of four. We were within blocks of great beach style shops and coffee houses. The beach was just a five minute drive away where we enjoyed hours of fun. We enjoyed our stay at such a great price.

Our favorite resturant was Moe's. It's a great ocean front sea food resturant with a very casual feel. All the food is fresh daily and delightfully prepared. We appreciated the casual feel we aet in our beach clothes after spending hours in the sand.

motel 6 in lincoln city, oregon
the best thing is its in walking distance to the casino, the 2nd floor where i was is clean, servicable but the elevator smelled like cigerette smoke. the mattress needed to be replaced as well as the pillows. for inexpensive and close to the casino, its not a bad hotel. the staff was nice and the hallways kept clean. the room was clean and neat, could use a more modern tv though, and there is no iron or ironing board.

hard to find the hotel,need more detail
We visited the sea side,local shops.Hotel had good location,but it was hard to find it.There are 2 sides of the Hway 101 and we drow back and forth the street untill we call the hotel and found the other end of the street. Also we did not get ARRP or AAA travel discount. Is it possible to ctedit our Visa now?.

Motel 6 Lincoln City, OR
Everything in the room was new and it was the best. I wanted to take the new bed spread home with me. It would have been nice to have a little larger TV with better reception. The thing I missed the most was Shampoo, Kleenex and Lotion (all not furnished with the room).

The casino is just a few blocks away and even closer is a Safeway and Walgreens for all the stuff you forgot to bring. Lots of places to eat just down the street no matter which way you turn for this hotel.
