It was good but we found out there is a weight limit on dogs of 25 pounds, and we have a large dog. They did make an exception for us, which we appreciated.

Had a Good Time

We only stayed at the Hotel for one night but it just perfect for us. It was neat and clean and the continental breakfast was great. The weather was bad so no walking on the beach or shopping it the nearby outlet mall. Instead we spent a good portion of our time at the Casino. We had a great time.

The ocean is on the other side of the highway. There is a lake just behind the hotel. There is lots of "sidewalk" shopping a short walk from this hotel and there is a casino a short drive away. Lots to do!

Trip to Lincoln City with some Friend

Our first room had a few big spider webs on the ceiling. Other than that it was in good condition. Our Second room ( we had to change because the # of people in it) was perfect. Everything looked like brand new. :) It was pretty comfortable. Breakfast was good enough. It had a several things to choose from.

Only stay on the top floor!

Generally-speaking a nice hotel; however, if you stay on any floor other than the top (third) floor you better be a heavy sleeper or bring ear plugs. You could hear EVERY footstep, like the crunchy sounds footsteps make in gravel. Not only that you could hear the person's bathroom habits through the ceiling and plumbing. Seriously?!? But aside from all of that, the indoor pool, continental breakfast, and close proximity to fun things along the coast made it a tolerable stay.

Just across the street is a fabulous seafood grill called Kyllos. Food was delicious and the view of the ocean simply breathtaking!

A great place to stay.

The beds were super comfortable and the room furnishing modern and very clean. The continental breakfast was a little disappointing. There was no coffee creamer available and the food was carbohydrate oriented. The hotel informed the guests that essential items were available at the front desk. Having forgotten my toothbrush, i called the front desk. No one answered so I went down in person but was told "it had finished". the receptionist told me that there was a shop 1.5 miles away where I could go and purchase it. That was not what I expected of such a hotel.

Comfort Inn Lincoln City

I had booked this hotel only the evening before. I was not sure what I was getting myself into, but was very pleasantly surprised. The lady working at the check-in desk was phenomenal and provided great customer service. I got checked in, and found a very nice room. The bed was comfortable. The furniture wasn't the newest trends, but everything was clean and comfortable. The king room had an executive style desk, a loveseat, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. My only suggestion would be that the tv cannot rotate on the stand it's on (entertainment center) and it would have been nice to have been able to angle it. But for the money, the stay was great, and the rooms were clean. It also looked like the bathrooms had been recently updated. Also, when booking it said that the breakfast was not included, but I was told at the desk that every guest receives the continental breakfast (waffle bar, cereal, pastries, coffee, fruit, etc). I actually ended up staying again the next night, and extending my trip.

At a certain point in the evening (early, maybe 10pm) most grocery stores, as well as most restaurants close down. It was very strange not to be able to find anywhere to eat. Even some fast food places were closed. We did find a few open, but it is something to think about when planning your dining.

Comfort Inn, true to its name

Overall it was a pleasant experience. The room was comfortable and had a decent view of the forest on the back side of the hotel. Only thing I had a problem with was that there wasn't any electrical outlets in easy reach. We had to move the bed in order to plug in our cell phone charges. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Practicially Overhanging the Highway

I drove up. Went in. Found out their "Forest View" indeed looks at the forest, but backs up to Highway 101. There is only a narrow corridor between you and the highway which can't be more than 50 feet away. "Quiet Forest View?" I did not even stay. Threw away $200 for nothing. Thanks Orbitz. There were some other rooms away from the highway, but not available. Do not stay at this hotel's "new wing" if at all. Clerk was a complete jerk. I travel 200 days a years some years and have NEVER had a nastier stressed out clerk.
