Pushy Broad Desert Rat
One of the cheapest places we could find.
Located on the highway that runs thru town, it was easy to get to, and offers parking for bigger vehicles. Is near the railway, and the many trains that passed in the night kept waking us up. If you live in an area that's pretty loud this probably wouldn't be a problem, but for us country folks it was a bit loud. Property borders Klamath Falls Brewery, which was wonderful. Good food, good brews, great staff. Back to the Maverick, this is an older motel that is clean, but in need of some repairs. The refrigerator is miniscule, but functional. Unable to access the ice maker after 9pm. Daytime staff's daughter made using the computer in the lobby very uncomfortable. Breakfast was nominal, but for the price is what you might expect. Evening staff was very helpful.

Awesome basic motel
The Maverick Motel is near to downtown Klamath Falls and very easy to find. The clerk at the reception desk was friendly and my room was clean and comfortable. Not a luxury hotel but everything I needed at a great price.

Wouldn't walk barefoot on this carpet...
Older facility with dirty, worn commercial carpet. Checked in very late and clerk was attentive and helpful but felt uncomfortable in very dated accommodations. "Creeped out" by condition of carpeting in room....in light of day, I must admit that bath was clean but saw that mattress pad under sheets was in need of replacement. Would not stay here again.

Close to Crater Lake
We were on our way from Carson City to Crater Lake so needed motel close and a good price. This fit the bill. Motel older, but very clean. Night staff for check-in was very unfriendly but next morning staff very nice. Breakfast was very basic and had to ask for milk for oatmeal, but okay.

Great price, close to downtown
Front desk staff not too friendly. The price was great and the location was nice. Able to walk downtown and enjoy some of the local food establishments.

Sleepy Passerthrough
Good value for your dollar
I got in late and pretty much just plopped in bed. The room was large, with microwave and fridge -- not useful for me on this trip, but something I would have appreciated at other times. The breakfast had instant oatmeal, packaged buns, juice, coffee. Enough to get you on the road. No fault of the hotel, but the train tracks run by about a block away and blow their horns in the middle of the night. Startled me awake the first time, but I slept through the rest.

Road Warrior on a tight budget
Clean, noisy
People were nice, room was clean, like the location. I appreciate the microwave and in-room fridge. Hotel "breakfast" was best left in the lobby. Rooms are arranged in halls. Sound funnels down hall and into room, so you hear every car, truck, argument, dropped bag, etc. Bring ear plugs.
