Close to the fairgrounds...
...and that is about it for the good. No restaurant at hotel or nearby... no bar... no usable pool... no usable spa. Glad the kids weren't with us. Overall, the ladies on the staff were very nice but that didn't improve the experience enough to make us like the place. Pro: They do take pets. Con: dog issues & smell. I think the hotel type/star rating must be inflated by the amenities that have been there in the past, like the restaurant and lounge and stuff.

If you don't have a car there are several services that deliver food to this area with lots of selections. Just surf for Hillsboro Food Delivery. I had some lovely Indian food.

Really, No Elevator?
Pluses: * Close to Intel Hillsboro * Easy to find * Economical Minuses: * No elevator, so don't bring a heavy suitcase or equipment * Breakfast is sub-par with very limited hours * Not enough outlets in the room to do work on computer and charge phone(s) * Just across from Hillboro Airport and the smell of jet fuel comes wafting over

Good business hotel
It is very close the the blue line MAX station Fair Complex and if you need to go to the Intel JF campus from here all you need to do is walk back to the MAX station and get on the Intel shuttle that waits there to pick up employees that travel to Intel's JF campus by MAX. In the afternoon the Free wireless in all rooms, hotel has a internet station in the lobby so no need to unpack the laptop if you need to quickly search for something and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Only downside is that there is no elevator so if you have a heavy suitcase you need to carry it upstairs yourself, since there are only 2 floors the most you have to carry it up is one floor so it is doable.

Decent Room, Counter Staff Could Improve
This hotel is a clean and well-appointed space. However, the counter staff were not that sharp about handling the flow of arriving guests and were not very friendly in the process of checking us in.

It was my first time in Oregon and I took advantage of going to see the Columbia River Gorge. It was about an hour and 40 minute drive and it was well worth the time to see the mountains rising from the river basin and the white caps on the river. I highly recommend viewing by anyone that remotely appreciates God's creations.

Perfect Location
Nice location for Hillsboro Airport. Easy access to either Forest Grove or Hillsboro. Remodel in progress with quality materials like granite counters and new linens, furniture, fixtures etc. Exterior may be next to be upgraded? Restful room to rear of motel...Would stay again!
