great views from a nice hotel
I came here with my girlfriend, on a road-trip. The hotel was very well-maintained. All the rooms face the river, with incredible views. The hotel staff even delivered the breakfast to our room in the morning! Some amenities, like a microwave, were lacking which I felt were standard for a hotel like this. But the view makes up for it.

Good location
Good solid motel, downtown on the river. Rooms and deck are fine, nothing special. View of river is nice. Great breakfast included. Across street from excellent dining at Taprock. Much more comfortable than the non-descript chain outfits. So the carpet is old, so what.

Fatastic Setting on River!!!
Have stayed here at least three times per year for the last five years. The Hotel is right on the Rogue River and all rooms face the River. It is older but clean and the staff is great. Breakast if delivered to your room.

Very Convenient
It was a great location if you are going on the Hellgate Jet Boat Excursion(it is right next door). Also very convenient to the Applgate Wine Trail.The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hopefully they will upgrade the rooms soon. But I would stay again because of their location and great view of the Rogue river.

Great location, hard bed & rude check in
We were a group of 13 people, we were taking a jet boat dinner trip. The location was great, rooms all have a river view. The room was very clean and nice, other than the beds were very hard, A pillow top mattress would have been nice for the price. The only real problem was a lady that seemed to have a chip on her shoulder when we arrived. Her name was [...], and she was exstreming rude to us. We asked to check in early if possible, it was 1pm. I know what the word request means, and that's all we were doing. She informed us that we could check back at 3:30pm and she would check on the room then. Your web site states that check in is at 3pm. Others asked the same question and were told to check back at 230pm, so we felt that she was just being as rude as she could be to us! I will not stay there again just because of her. There are too many other and nicer places to stay.

Great location
Nice clean room, great view and location, good service at the front desk, great water pressure, nice soaps, shampoos, and lotion. The rooms are quiet. My kid was having a meltdown with no complaints from anyone and i didn't hear anyone else either Could have better outdoor furniture and mattresses but most hotels don't.

fantastic setting
Staff extremely friendly, room large, nice breakfast. Only gripes: get a top floor room because plumbing noisy and floor creeky above
