Christmas without the family
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, now we didn't stay during the day and used it as a night sleeping spot. I did the trick, although I did wish the beds and pillow were a bit more comfortable, the beds were very hard and the pillow flat. I was exactly what we paid for cheap and easy place to stay.

Memories of years ago.
My family stayed in this motel about 40 years ago. I did not realize that until I got to town. My children were young at that time. If I had known when I made my reservation, I would not have stayed there. The room was too small, and there was no bathtub. I have stayed in other motels in town for the same price, and they were much roomier, and all had bathtubs. The towels were very small and some were worn thin. I would not stay in this motel again.

Convenience, convenience, convenience
second time at this hotel, friendly staff, clean, stayed 3 nights to visit with relatives in area, while gone bed was made and fresh towels in room, hotel convenient to freeway, easy access to streets because of street layout, hotel has guest laundy facility and was fairly clean, the only thing missing was a mirowave - sometimes we travel with food that needs micrwaved

the downtown area has numerous small shops (antique,clothing,specialty), get there before 5:00pm, most shops close at 5:00pm

It was a stopping place after a long journey. We had asked for "handicapped" accessible, and found the provisions slim to none, which is difficult for an elderly person needing the accommodations. "Accessible" apparently only means ground floor access.

bed ad hard as a rock 2 small pillows . no ironing board in the room had to ask she said 5.00 a day rental went to walmart and bought a steamer for 18.00 after looking around in rouge river and grants pass i found nocer cleaner and better deals this hotel is not freindy and old and run down please shop arount

A Good Nights Sleep
We arrived late night to this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The night was quiet and we all slept very well. The only issue was that in the morning the soda machine was not working. The snack machine was. We knew there were other guests, but we never saw them, it was a very quiet motel.

There was the downtown Grants Pass City Center right there were we were. We were at one end and you could just walk down the street and window shop in many, many businesses and shops.

Such a relief
Staff was very polite and helpfully and allowed us to check in early. We were very happy about that as we were traveling by motorcycle , it was very hot out. We were happy we could get in out of the heat and did not have to kill time around town being miserable.
