Very friendly and helpful staff. The interior lights stayed on in my car and the man working the desk at night went to some effort to figure out whose car it was and give me a call..

OK place for the night
The place appeared to be an older motel that was rebadged and rehabilitated. Things were well done, except the room smelled funny and the plywood with light holes around the air conditioner. The bed was really comfortable and I slept well.

In Hotel
If you are driving from Seattle to San Francisco, Grants Pass is the mid point. So all you need is a good night's sleep. But if the room smells funny, don't assume you won't notice it after awhile...

Suprizingly Satisfied
Found the place very clean and presentable. Could not beat the price in comparison to other hotels in the area. All in all I was satisfied with the personel and customer service.

Not bad overall
I only have two complaints, I requested smoking and was given non smoking. I could not sleep due to the noise from the upstairs, and the pillows were not very good.

Good for Basic Needs
This is a nice hotel for your basic needs. Clean sheets & bath, breakfast provided and a good location for Grants Pass. It is a simple wall air conditioner, which was not really adequate for the heat wave Oregon was having, but probably would be fine for other times. Light showed through under the door all night too.

The Tap Rock restaurant - right on the river - just up the road from the hotel. Beautiful setting, excellent service, great food.

Clean, Remodeled, and Quite
We were pleasantly surprised how clean and new the room was although it was smaller than most that we have stayed in. Being the 4th of July, we expected tons of fireworks in the surrounding area, but we did not hear any!?! I'm not sure if it had wireless access to the Internet? I was too tried. The location to the highway was excellent,and the restaurants and shops were only 3 miles away (highway travel, next exit). The continental breakfast was pretty good also. All in all, we would stay there again...:-)

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. The only things that we would change would be to heat the pool a bit and make the breakfast more assessible. There was only one working waffle iron for everyone in the hotel to cook their own breakfast and not enough tables to sit half the people waiting to use it. Smelled great but no way we were going to stand in the lobby and wait for the 14 people ahead of us to use the iron. So we ate elsewhere. A disappointment but not really a big problem as there is fine dining available close by.

fast food close walk, and many choices within a short drive. We highly recommend the Brewery for their sunday brunch and their regular lunch menu both. Womderful food and great atmosphere.
