Needs a little help
Hotel was clean but room furnishings, etc old and just needs some updating. Also, toilet ran all night and air system was loud so it woke you up everytime it turned on.

Everything went better than expected. Excellent accommodations and location for our family reunion held in Rogue River, Oregon. The staff was terrific and made our stay an immensely enjoyable event.

Long walk from hotel
Bee Gee's Diner is a great place to eat with a very good food selection. Less than a mile from the hotel and can be walked to in less than 30 minutes.

Great place to stay
Staff was very friendly, would stay again if we were in the area, quiet location, no freeway noise, which is very important to me as I am a very light sleeper.

Absolutely no other choice to stay in Or
We travel A LOT, and have never stayed at a hotel, at any price that offered such great service, amenities, and hospitality. An on-site owner, an attentive staff, and meticulously clean and updated facility have made for a great stay! We had planned on a one day stay, but the kids, as well as my wife wanted to stay more, so we ended up staying three nights. I'm trying to make this a balanced review, but I can't think of anything bad to say. Great water pressure...clean pool/hot tub...great breakfast. The pool is outdoor, and has an awesome view of the mountains on one side, and towering pines on the other. This is just what you're looking for the a Rogue River/Oregon experience. We drove 2,800 miles to get here, and it was worth the drive.

Grants Pass, Oregon Best Western
nice motel but when we checked in with the dog (small Yorkie) they not only charged us the dog fee, which we expected, but an additional $10 fee for the room which was upstairs (no elevator)! This did not make any sense as we had a dog. The room was nicely furnished and carpeted so it made no sense to stick us up the stairs.

Excellent layover spot
We are on our way from Portland to South Lake Tahoe, with a stop in Grants Pass to visit friends. They acually live on the Rogue River Hwy, about 1.4 miles down the road from the hotel. The hotel was very covient, and very comfortable and the room was VERY well equipt with even a microwave and a refrigerator. The next time we go through we will deffinatelly stay there and will recomend it highly.

Very friendly
The Best Western Inn at the Rouge River was very comfortable and clean. The staff was freindly and helpful. The location was great for early morning walks along the river. Maybe the best of all was Karen Kitchen just across the parking lot a great place for a really good breakfast after a walk along the river.
