We are a modern hotel with generous sized rooms and great amenities but with a friendly atmosphere of a small bed and breakfast. Staying with us is like staying with family only better. The beautiful three story lobby provides a welcome friendly atmosphere for sitting by the fire reading taking care of emails or playing a game of cribbage. It is a great place to meet old friends or make new ones and socialize. Breakfast is the normal continental fare including cereal sweet rolls bagels and toast along with extras like yogurt hard boiled eggs waffles and biscuits and gravy. There are also occasional surprise entrees. Breakfast is served in the hospitality room which is open 24 hours a day for relaxing playing card or board games or even enjoying a beverage with a friend BYOB. Happy hour snacks are served from 430pm to 630pm. There are sometimes surprise snacks when popular sporting events are on TV. Complimentary coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day and a popcorn machine is running mid afternoon into the evening. We will be adding BBQs for guest use by early spring. Instead of taking the family out to dinner every night you can BBQ hamburgers steaks Salmon or whatever you choose. The Garibaldi House is a smoke free facility but outdoor covered areas for smoking are provided.

Best hotel in a long time

We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The staff are amazing and really take the time to make you feel at home. Amazing service, beyond any other hotel I have stayed at in a while. Very clean rooms and the whole place is a 5 star. The breakfast is the best, a wide selection of great food. I would recommend that anyone stay here, you will not be disapointed.

This is NOT a B&B

Ranks as a base motel with breakfast. Thin walls, heard every toilet flush all night. Staff disinterested. No top sheet , only hot duvet. I would not stay here again ever.

Overnite lodging on the Oregon Coast

My husband and I needed one more night on the coast and the Garibaldi House was a nice choice. It is right on the north/south road so we found it easily. The room was non-descript but comfortable. The people who checked us in and helped us with breakfast were friendly and helpful. I thought it was a good value.

We ate a delicious seafood inner at Pirate's Cove restaurant. The 40 minute wait was worth it!

Quaint

We opted for this inn after reading all of the great reviews. It's cozy and comfortable for the one night since there are not a lot of options available. It has all the basic comforts for a one night getaway. I would have to say that it seems a little outdated. Our room had wallpaper lining that didnt finish across the room. The electrical outlets were bare with no covers and there were stains on the carpet. I dont mind old, but details matter. Friendly staff.

Comfortable, thoughtful and immaculate

I travel a lot on business and it is always nice to find a hotel that goes the extra mile. The hotel staff were very cheerful and accomodating. The ambiance has a B&B flavor to it, with cheese from the Cheese Factory and sausage from the Country Smoker in the lobby in the evening, animal cookies available all day. My room was absolutely spotless, and thoughtfully appointed with micro, coffeemaker and small fridge. Bed and pillows very comfortable. I will return again whenever I have business in the Tillamook area!

Fabulous 4th

We were surprised at the high quality of this inn as compared to other 2 star places... The room did not have air conditioning working, and the carpet needed to be cleaned, the printer to the workstation in the lobby did not work either.but otherwise there were wonderful amenities, (the boxed lunches we ordered for our trainride to the fire works were quick and handy). The shower was wonderful, the mattresses were very new and comfortable. We would stay here again. The staff was great. Our July the 4th evening with the train from Garibaldi to Rockaway and back was fantastic, and we slept wonderfully, moonlight view over the bay and all.

Wish we had more time!

From the lobby to the room to the staff, we were so pleased! The lobby is so warm and inviting with leather couches and a fire in the fireplace. The staff was so helpful and kind. Our room was on the third floor and so spacious and clean. The kids swam in the pool and it was clean and comfortable for my husband and myself to sit by the pool while the kids swam. I can't wait to stay here again and will definitely stay longer than one night!!!

They fed me!

Munchies in the afternoon and big breakfast spread in the morning! A movie-style popcorn machine! Cozy lobby. Everything super spotless. Very quiet even tho located on the highway. Antique stores near by. Nicer and more homey a place than the exterior implies.

Pleasant Suprise

This was just an overnight stay while on a road trip so we didn't spend a lot of time here. What I can say is the staff were all very nice, helpful when asked questions, and gave suggestions. The hotel was clean and comfortable and provided a nice breakfast. We stayed at quite a few hotels on our two week trip, this was one of the best. While not in a resort town full of restaurants, it was great for a one night stay.
