Stayed 4 nights, quiet. Management co-operated with our desire for privacy (no maid service) and need for an extra power strip (one outlet was at head level, behind a lamp shade so I didn't see it). Room was obviously being renovated when not in use. Toilet was not properly secure to floor, which may have been the reason for a blockage. Overall - an average room at an average-good price.

Excellent value for a night's sleep.
We only wanted a place to shower, cool off and spend the night after spending a long hot day at the Country Fair outside of Eugene. [...] It was clean, the bed and pillows comfortable, and best of all on an unusual 90 degree plus day the air conditioning worked great. As for others who have been disappointed, my comment is, I was only looking for a place to sleep - not be entertained, thus I was completely satisfied. Although the motel is in an industrial area, it did not seem unsafe either in the motel or out walking.

If you want a good meal it's only a couple miles to downtown Eugene. There are pubs and steak houses near 5th Street Market and various ethnic restaurants scattered throughout the downtown area.

Worst motel I ever stayed in
The door to the room was a 2 by 4 frame stuck in a 2 by 6 wall so two inces of insulation was showing. The shower curtain was covered with black mold. The carpet and chair in the room were all terribly stained.

Very clean, fairly quiet, efficient staf
I didn't do my homework and ended up at a motel on the outskirts of town in what appeared to be Eugene's industrial district. Luckily the rooms were clean, and the staff was very efficient. It isn't the inn's fault that they are in a bad part of town, but I still wouldn't go back despite the good customer service. For the price, you could do better.

The Motel was O.K.

nice enough room, BAD nieghborhood.
The nieghborhood was TERRIBLE. Locals recommended not walking around, and not to leave anything in my car. The room was clean with extra nice decorations for the price of the motel. The bed was extremely comfortable. I was upgraded to a jucuzzi room due to a water pipe problem, and I am sure the upgrade was much needed. The regular price for such upgrade is $20, so I recommend considering that. I did not use the jacuzzi as there was some lack of cleanliness in the jacuzzi spouts themselves (only the spouts, the rest of the tub and bathroom was clean). The reason I wouldnt recommend this motel to a "friend" has nothing to do with the room or staff, just the unsafe and uncomfortable nieghborhood. i was ok, but there is a lot of thefts reported and indigent people congrugating nearby. There are also not many dining choices if you dont like fast food. At least not in walking distance.

Friendly staff, room older but clean
Near University of Oregon and maybe 10 minutes from RiverBend Hospital. Older hotel but clean and very kind staff.

all we needed
Not very appealing from the outside, and difficult to find with Mapquest directions, but room was attractive, spotlessly clean and fresh and had a great shower.
