One night stay

We stayed in the Lawrence Suite. Pros: Lots of room, friendly and helpful staff. Cons: Frequent train noise (especially the whistle) makes it difficult to sleep. No separate bathroom for the master bedroom. Cleanliness was OK, I expect better in this price range.

VIP treatment

We reserved this B&B because our usual business trip hotel was booked for the night. With advance phone request earlier in the morning that we had been traveling and I was awake for over 36 hrs, we were advised we could get in the room as soon as it was ready. It was already prepared when we arrived at noon and was cool and comfy. A hidden refrig held complimentary water and soft drinks. Wi-fi was strong. The bed was on the soft side but comfortable sleeping was not a problem. Loved the grounds and complimentary wine in early evening. After a restful and quiet night we enjoyed a large breakfast in which every part of the meal was prepared perfectly. We had made reservations next week at our usual business hotel but canceled so we could return for more pampering.

Bed and breakfast

A bit hard to find, but staff helped out. It would be good to mention it does not have a lift to 2nd floor. Breakfast was good, but I wasn't sure what the protocol was re: is this a restaurant or BnB? If there was one thing I would strongly recommend, it would be to have some other window coverings besides just a valence on the windows. The views were nice, but no privacy. Again, the staff was helpful, but solution was makeshift. Also, no one at the front desk in the morning???

Hidden Gem

We were on traveling to Portland and decided to stop on Eugene for the experience. We happened upon the campbell house inn unexpectedly. It is tucked away at the end of a dead end street, you would never know the it was there! Upon checking in, the staff walked us to our room and made sure the room was suffiecient. It had its own fireplace, fridge and jacuzzi tub. We were in heaven. We were able to walk downtown and enjoy dinner and drinks from the inn. The breakfast I the morning was good, we were offered two choices and fruit/scone. We wish very city we traveled to had an inn like he campbell house!

nice stop in Eugene

A big old house on the National Historic Register. Regrigerator in the room. Rooms on the small side and because of the conversion somewhat oddly arranged (televsiion in the closet.) Comfortable beds, friendly staff, good parking, lovely grounds, nice breakfast, conveniently located. Like all downtown Eugene hotels near a railroad track.

Superb romantic getaway

Went down for an overnight stay when we attended a concert. It's a beautiful old home and we stayed in one of the dormer rooms overlooking the garden and towards the park. Room was spotless and well apportioned. My only slight dislike was that the additional memory pad on the bed made it a little soft. Staff was quite friendly and helpfull. The dinner and breakfast meals we had were delightful. Now our only problem is finding an excuse to come down for a longer stay.

Perfectly Charming BnB

The Campbell House Inn is a warm and welcoming inn, walking distance to downtown Eugene and it's restaurants and amenities. The only thing that prevents me from awarding 5 stars is the prepared breakfast fare which is mediocre. Mostly breakfast casserole type dishes that lack flare.

One night stay

Great location - walking distance to river park and Skinner Butte Park, plus great restaurants nearby. Great breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff. Very quaint and clean. Room was small and bed not the most comfortable, but fine for one night.
