Good place to stay
The best thing about this hotel was the front office staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. The room was average, but the beds were some of the most comfortable we've ever slept in! We would definitely stay there again.

It's close to the UO Campus
The motel is closely located to the UO campaus. The room is pretty big; enough for two.

Nice stay for business
Stayed five nights for business trip. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We reserved a room with a king, but because we used a "third-party" to make the reservation, we were only given a room with two queens as there was only one king room left. We objected and were given the last king room...the handicap accessible one. It was okay. The room was not very up-to-date. The carpet was dirty. We LOVED the location - walking distance to U of O. The breakfast was hot and tasty. Overall a decent stay, but probably will not stay there again.

homey and comfortable
The front desk staff made this place feel like home, they were very friendly! The hotel was comfortable and clean, but a little noisy with the train track near by.

Great Stay
We were only there one night. The check in went without a hitch, very friendly front desk staff and warm cookies. The room was spacious, 2 queen size beds, clean and exactly as advertised. The included breakfast had something for each of us and coffee to go. Even though it's a couple block fartehr to walk to campu, University of Oregon, than the hotels across the street, I will absolutely make this my next stay.

Mediocre at best
I think for the price point, this hotel was too shabby. The staff was friendly but the actual rooms seemed poorly renovated and dingy. The shower was a little dirty with a greasy feeling shower curtain From the photos it seemed the best choice among the other hotels listed but it was far from great. For $80 a night, I would understand. For $140, I don't think it's worth it.

Great Central Location
Traveling for business I always stay at the Phoenix Inn because of the great breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff, and central location. I can easily walk to downtown and the U of O. And, easy access to the running/bike trails along the beautiful Willamette river!
