Holiday Inn express is A-OK
The hotel is actually pretty decent quality for the budget traveled....not too bad. Good location near Matthew Knight Arena. I like the pancake machine. Our room looked a little European in size, but the beds were good, AC was strong and the bathroom was clean.

Convenient to UO and 4 Stars
We stayed in this hotel last April and chose a room that was too close to the pool (chlorine smell) and noisy (faced the rest./club). This time we stayed in the same type of room only on the 4th floor facing the front. The previous issues were resolved. Fortunately the air conditioner worked as the temp. in Eugene reached 100 degrees every day.

Short drive from hotel
The Glenwwod Inn was a solid place to eat. One nice thing is that they serve breakfast all day and my wife took advantage of that when we ate dinner at 7:30 PM.

Rain Didn't Dampen Our Experience
The hotel was in a wonderful location for a visit to the University; it was also convenient to the interstate. We reserved a room with 2 queens and a couch and had the choice of ground floor or upper floors. Unfortunately we chose the ground floor as it was a bit noisy with the nightclub across the parking lot facing our window and people checking out early in the AM.Also the hotel's washers/driers were next door.I would strongly recommend an upper floor Very helpful/friendly staff. Chlorine smell in the hallway outside the room. I would definitely stay there again and choose room wisely.

Nice room for the money
The room was well decorated and comfortable, although our room was small (all rooms varied in size). The bathroom was especially well appointed and well lighted. The hotel was convenient to OSU and the free breakfast was one of the best.

Nice place
Excellant location with easy access to all things Eugene: U of O, downtown, Valley River Center. This was our second stay and, again, we were happy with our experience. We had a king "suite" which gave us a little extra room. The beds are comfortable and everyone is friendly and helpful. Our only complaint were the thin walls as we could here our neighbors conversation but it was quiet enough at night for us to get a good sleep.

New-ish, modern H.I. Express. Sleepless night.
The Holiday Inn Express is arguably the nicest hotel in Eugene. It's also in close proximity to the university. Our room was spacious, comfortable and immaculate, however, the torrent of water flowing through pipes in the wall woke us up several times during the night. The very polite desk clerk explained the pipes needed repairs, which management is in the process of dealing with. We didn't take advantage of the inviting breakfast room, but did smell bacony goodness as we checked out. There's a decent drive-thru coffee kiosk in the parking lot, and also a restaurant next door which unfortunately serves beyond terrible food, so beware.

Family Friendly and comfortable
This Holiday Inn Express was VERY nice. It was just recently built when we stayed there, and we were very impressed for a Holiday Inn. The best part were the beds, they were more comfortable than some five star resorts that we have stayed at. I would highly recommend this hotel. I think the only complaint we had was the slow elevators!!

Graduation visit
We (4 adults and 2 teenagers) were attending a daughter's graduation from the U of O and were looking for something large enough for 4 while still maintaining some privacy. The staff was pleasant and not harried--even though they had a full house. The king suite was very attractive right down to the flat panel TV. And, while there was a separate bedroom, the sleeper couch in the living room was less than comfortable. In the end, for the same price we could probably have booked two separate rooms.

Great location
The Eugene Holiday Express was beautiful. The rooms are large and comfortable. Everything appears new. The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff was extremely helpful when asked about where to eat dinner. The location was close to University of Oregon--the reason for our visit was to visit the campus.

SURPRISING
I was completely surprised when i entered into this establishment. The hotel was bright, clean and upscale. I was very impressed! The room was large, laid out efficiently and had all of the little things that made it comfortable. I was quite impressed. A luxury hotel for the price!
