Hairs on the sheets and a stained washcloth were not a good start to our late night arrival to this stop over in Eugene on a quick road trip. The room appeared clean otherwise, but a bit dated. There was a nice flat screen television that appeared
fairly new. It looked like the hotel was in a questionable neighborhood. Enough so that if you checked in late, you went up to a window rather than into the lobby. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice that there was a continental breakfast, but they were out of coffee when we went to get some at 7:30am and we had to ask them to make more. Inexpensive rate, but definitely average or slightly below.
The room was very small; however, it had a separate sitting room with a couch. It was very clean. But, it was not as close to the airport as I was told. We stayed there to catch a connecting flight the next morning. Breakfast was served late
and we were not able to take advantage of it. I would stay there again.
My daughter and I stayed at the Econo Lodge in Eugene for two nights and we were very pleased with this hotel. We got there late the first night after a long drive and the women working the check in desk was very helpful/courteous. Very quiet
hotel and the room was clean. I would definatly stay here again on my next trip to Eugene.
