- Area description
- The Broadway Inn is in one of the most central and convenient locations in Eugene area. We are right at the corner where Coburg turns, merges into Broadway and continues to becomes Franklin Avenue. Walk two to three blocks and you are in the heart of downtown Eugene with lots of restaurants and stores. We are within several blocks from the University of Oregon, home of the mighty DUCKS. Right across the street is the new Federal Court House. We are within easy walking distance to the Hult center for Performing Arts, the Fifth Street Public Market and the Sacred Heart Hospital center. We are located on Broadway between the Phoenix Inn and the Campus Inn, and walking close to the Eugene Hilton, which are all more expensive to stay at.

Nice place to stay
I was in Eugene for a track meet at the university. The Broadway Inn has a great location, close to the university and easy access on and off the freeway. The room was a little small but very clean and comfortable.

our first stay in eugene
It was very good for the night that we stayed ,served our needs. We were there for the Susan G Komen event 10/23/2011 . The continental breakfast was just right and started at a good time.

Nonprofit staff
Good stay
Purpose of the trip was to attend a conference; working for a nonprofit organization I always try to stay at more affordable lodging than an expensive conference hotel. This one was within reasonable walking distance of the Hult Center and included continental breakfast. Clean and mostly quiet, the exception being early morning departures of neighboring rooms--but that comes with the motel territory. Staff members are courteous, friendly, and helpful.

Long walk from hotel
Inquire about the organic produce farmers' market located in a city park downtown.

Great place to crash!
My mom and I were exceptionally tired after driving through California and then into Oregon. Truthfully, I was so tired I was ready to sleep in the car, but thankfully we'd reserved this hotel. The bed was comfortable - the only thing I would have liked would have maybe been an extra pillow, but both of us were too tired to go and ask for one. Pretty much we just crashed and slept through the night. There was a microwave and fridge in the room. The TV got lots of channels. Free breakfast - good stuff too, muffins, bagels, juice, applesauce, etc. They're a short way from VooDoo doughnuts if you're in the mood for some magic doughnuts.

Good value
The pool was good, warm enough to swim in, clean, kids loved it. Rooms were clean and big. Nice TV with HD cable. A couple of things could be improved. There could be a sink out by the mirror for use when the bathroom is occupied. The breakfast buffet could use some milk.

Great value
The rooms are nothing special, but they are clean and reasonably well maintained (better than most hotels at the same price level). What really sets this hotel apart is the STAFF. Helpful, friendly, and very accommodating -- I've not received better treatment at a $300 hotel! Close to campus and downtown (both easy walking distance), plenty of parking, always enough towels and linens. The only complaint is street noise -- but, turn on the room fan and it'll drown it out.

good
The staff was very nice. The motel was older but clean. The location was great for getting to downtown and U of O. Had a little trouble with the plumbing. The shower would alternate between hot and cold.

Pool was nice, bathroom was small.
We were there to visit U. of Oregon. The campus was very close. We were glad to find a pool that closed at 10 p.m. The continental breakfast was good. The room was clean and quiet. The bathroom was a little small. Otherwise a good motel.
