Enjoyed my stay
I enjoyed my stay there. I was visiting my family and didn't want to stay with them because I had my cat. I didn't spend that much time there, but the bed was comfortable (brought my own bedding, which I do when I take trips in my car), lots of TV channels so that was nice. THe only amenities I missed were bath stuff. No lotion or hair conditioner. The room was a very nice size, 2 love chairs, desk, table, large bed, large entertainment center with coffee stuff. Mini fridge inside entertainment center. I especially liked the balcony since I smoke occasionally.

Best Western Greentree Inn
Great location near the campus and start of the Eugene Marathon, which I was running. Because the marathon was Sunday morning, I requested a late check out time -- noon versus 11am. I was denied and told to go to a sister motel where they had a shower facility in their pool room. One shower for dozens of guests. Very uncool. To top it off, the clerk told me i may be able to come back after the race and if they hadn't cleaned a room yet, I may be able to use it to shower. Not my own room. Someone elses. That's gross. Also, the breakfast was poor even for a continental at a Best Western. If location is all you care about, then fine. They did give me another $10 off per night for being a Costco member. Would have liked late check out though.

Track Town Pizza, Eugene iconic establishment. Stay away from the Green Olive...served us ice cold lasagne.

Not worth the price.
Great price, but along with that price came a rock hard bed and pillows that were horrible. We ended up taking pillows from our daughter's dorm room just so that we could sleep. The room was very noisy. The train passing by woke us up both nights. Not worth the price.

We went to a football game at Autzen Stadium. Stadium is a nice 15 minute walk across the river and through the woods. The hotel was average, nothing special. Some of the halls were dirty but the room was large and clean. Continental breakfast was adequate. We would stay here again largely because of the location and affordable pricing.

Close walk to sports venues at University of Oregon. Across the street from the new basketball arena and a mile walk to Autzen Stadium.

Nice Hotel; good location
This is a nice hotel in an excellent location if you need to be close to the University of Oregon. Since I came all the way from Maryland to get my son settled at college, it was great to be close. Wonderful Thai Restaurant in the parking lot! The only negative - the key cards to get into the rooms demagnetized very easily. Mine had to be re-keyed every day, which was a minor hassle.

weekend with grandchildren
We went to Eugene for a Cheerleading competition for grandchild. Have had better previous commendations. The hotel was in a great location to get to where the competition was being held The desk staff gave a hint on how to get to street easier without having to go a mile out of the way.

Has a few downfalls
The green tree is nice but there are a few stairs if you are on the second floor and my husband has knee problems so it was not pleasant and the parking is limited and ackward. There are not enough spaces for the rooms and it is crowded. The rooms are great and the balconies are fun and the scenery off the balconey is very relaxing..so it is a trade off ..the clerk was a little agressive and having a bad night but we all do at times. there are quite a few restaurants close ..but not too many kid friendly as far as the menu goes but if its adults it works. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. Any place I stay that has a refrigerator and microwave will draw me back, just makes a big difference. Our room had a refrigerator but no microwave.

Nice Hotel
The Best Western GreenTree has a very nice room design, decor and layout. The housekeepers do a great job and everyone on the staff that I had contact with was very friendly. My only dislike was that I ended up in a corner room right by the door and you could constantly hear people walking and talking and the door banging closed. Don't get room 103.

Great breakfast and lunch spot to left of hotel called Deb's. Best breakfast I've ever had. And the Track Town Pizza to the right was very good as well.
