Hardrock Bed
The bed felt as though there was no padding at all over the springs. I was so stiff and sore by morning that I could hardly move. I told my husband that this place should be reported to the Humane Society.

Won't stay there again
I was not expecting much, after all this is a cheap room. But hot water for a morning shower is a REQUIREMENT. No hot water available at 7AM. When I mentioned this to the front desk when checking out at 9 AM they told me that it depended on when I took my shower, there was plenty of hot water at 9.

Not great by any means!
I have stayed at many Days Inn's throughout the years and have always been very pleased with the accomodations. Unfortunately that was not the case this time. This hotel is very outdated in appearance (circa 1980), though it was pretty clean. My main complaint was regarding the beds. The mattresses were extremey hard and there was no cushioning between the springs and the cover. Every time I moved at night I felt like my body was being dug into. My children and mother complained of the same problem. Due to this, I tossed and turned all night long, getting a horrible nights sleep and waking with a body that ached horribly. I do not feel that I am a picky person, in fact, I don't expect anything fancy, but my friend stayed in a hotel nearby for the same amount of money, they had a pool, up to date decore, a comfy bed and a continental breakfast that was fantastic (unfortunately they were booked up when I made reservations). This hotel was more than overpriced. If I were the Day's Inn corporation, I would take away the franchise rights for this hotel, it gives the company a bad name. Will never return and I urge other to find another hotel, especially if you value your sleep.

Days Inn Corvallis Nov 20, 2010
STaff very courteous. Room very clean, bed was comfortable. Structure is rickety; you can hear water/showers/toilets in adjacent rooms. The HVAC unit in the room was VERY loud when running; we turned it off.

Great Stay for our Trip
We (my friend (who currently stays in California and volunteers to go with us), my two sons (one was resuming at OSU and the other a 15 year old) and I stayed at Days Inn. When we read the former reviews, we were quite scared and had expected the worst; but it all turned out not to be like that. I, my children and my friend (my friend and I are both females, who are married and have our own individual families. We have known each other for many years and are actually family friends), all think that Days Inn was a perfect place to stay. The customer service is excellent and the room was quite good and comfortable. The breakfast was also good for us. Nothing special and nothing bad. We were quite satisfied with everything. The room was quite spacious and the bathroom good. I really like and enjoyed our stay, we were also able to park our rented vehicle in the spacious car park. We did enjoyed our stay at Days Inn.

Short drive from hotel
There are Chinese restaurants close to the hotel. Shops (TJ Maxx) is also not too far (if I can remember well enough) from Days Inn. Bath & Bedroom is also close. We did not have to walk, because we rented a car.

Mediocre motel
We were in Corvallis for an OSU football game. Just needed a bed and bath for the night, didn't spend any more time in the room than that. And that's about all this place is good for. Typical low-level chain, I guess, but the super thin sheets and towels, the over-warn rug, and the musty smell were just a tad too creepy for me to return to this property. Ultra basic breakfast included was not appealing, except the orange juice was good.

Good accomodations for the money
I traveled around and visited family while staying in Corvallis. The location was great! Right on 9th St. one of the main drags in town, close to food, gas stations, and stores. The pool was pretty much nonexistent, very small and in a bad location hidden in the back of the hotel. Also, a better continental breakfast would be good, basically just cereal, milk, and a few bagels, nothing more.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
Right down 9th Street you can find almost any store or restaurant you would need. I used the Splish Splash full service drive-thru car wash to wash the car I was borrowing while I was there. I was also able to hit the Rite Aid, Target, and nearby gas stations to gas up the car without driving more than 2 miles. Great location at Days Inn. Not to mention Shari's and Elmers diners are less than 25 yards away from the hotel front door.
