Best Boyfriend
romantic getaway
I took my girlfriend to Bend, Or for a weekend getaway. We stayed at the Shilo Inn with a jacuzzi tub and a great view of the deschutes river. The location was great because your not in the middle of everything but you aren't far from anything. I would recommend it to anyone

Very good restrauant in down town area. I believe it was The Lone Pine Bar, however am not sure. Was recommende to us by staff of the Shilo. Food was fabulous, and the surrounding grounds were beautiful.

checked in right off the bat said no rooms you requested avilable was not nice at all minni suite was dirty then moved us to another mini suite pictures dont tell true story.

Beat Deal in Bend
We booked the room with the queen bed mini suite with kitchenette. To our surprise the room was much larger than we expected and the kitchennete and dining bar top worked great as did the adjoining sofa/ tv area. Our package came with 2 complimentay glasses of wine and breakfast the next day. The motel is conveniently located to the down town area (by car) and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean and again, spacious. Would stay again (probably will soon) again in the future.

Buying in Bend
Relaxing and Affordable!
For the price, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accomodations at this hotel. I had a spacious room complete with kitchenette, deck overlooking the river, sitting area, and fireplace. Everything was spotless. I was able to work on the free wireless and enjoyed several good soaks in the hottub. My son enjoyed the gym as well although he did say it was rather warm to work out in there. The staff was very courteous and immediately got us the extra towels and a blanket that we asked for. The check in and out went easily. They even have real keys! The included breakfast buffet was an excellent deal...not just the instant waffle mix, hard roll thing I was expecting. They even had home-made salsa. I'd stay there again and plan to.

Business Trip went perfect
Snow fell, the walkways were cleared. The water temp in the indoor pool is perfect (warm). Room was super comfortable. We recommend Shilo Inn!

Good location and facilities
Great room, nice lounge, good location. Not real happy with "permanent guests" in next room that had a litter of puppies barking most of the night as well as one of the occupants was witnessed stealing money from a woman's coat in the bar. When I informed the front desk, their reassurance was that those guests would be moved out. Personally, I feel at least a discount in rate would have been appropriate.

Good place ........bad food
This is a very nice hotel for overnight or even an extended stay. However the breakfast buffet they offer is almost inedible I mean it is terribly bad so dont plan on it to get your day started.. Staff was great and the place was clean and comfortable, a bit dated but very nice.
