Clean and quiet
This was a great deal for the money, however make sure you get down to the continental breakfast early as they don't keep it well stock in the later morning hours and we ended up eating next door at the Black Bear Diner. The room was clean, and we stayed in a pet friendly room so that is commendable.

Great family hotel
This place was clean and had all we needed. Included breakfast was hot and tasty, good variety. Free Wi-Fi. Good deal for the money.

at Bend for yearly National road race
The manager was fantastic, free breakfast great. The only bummer was that I had to pay Orbitz 129 dollars per night when the hotel would have given it to me for 95 per night. Next time I'll go through the hotel

Solid Hotel
This Red Lion hotel is a decent place. The rates are reasonable, the staff was friendly and knowledgable especially about the surrounding areas which was nice since I was coming to town to use the hotel as a base camp and then go for motorcycle rides for the day. The room was decent and the beds were comfortable (that's saying a lot considering I travel and get to stay in many hotels). If I had one complaint it would be that the air conditioner was a bit on the loud side which was needed because of the warm days and evenings, but it worked and kept me comfortable. All things being equal I would come back to this hotel again without a second thought.

It was strange coming to Bend where the weather was so great during the evening to find that many places seemed to shut down early and everyone went home. I might have missed something but the people I talked to said "Yep, this is how it is around here."

Great room and layout!
The room we got had a great layout and was very spacious. The staff was great and breakfast was even good. The Red Lion is a bargain compared to the hotels in Bend and has a great, central location. Definitely will be staying again on my next trip into town!

The hotel is centrally located in town and convenient to downtown and local attractions. The hotel is showing it's age and the carpet could have been cleaner. The beds were comfortable enough but space in the room is very limited. The complimentary breakfast is good.

Cross family
perfect setup for outdoor sports fans
In Bend for USA cycling cyclocross national championships. Perfect set up with mini fridge and microwave for quick snack before and after racing. Good hot breakfast with some healthy options. Have stayed at this Red Lion before and would stay there again. The only thing missing was the laundry room which was out of service for retiling. Wish we had known that, you need a laundry room handy with a cyclocross racer!
