good location get away for single, couple or family with pets
The carpets were stained and dirty-they don't vacuum the corners or appear to have very good vacuum cleaners. Since it's a pet friendly hotel, I suspect the reason for the dirty carpets. Beds were comfortable! Breakfast was good and staff is freindly.

Family Trip
Nice, decent room with helpful staff members. Might have been a little more per night than another similar hotels offer (didnt realize until after). We would have enjoyed relaxing and watching a movie but there was no DVD player or way to order one from what we could tell. Overall, we were happy with our stay and had some great family time!

room below average, crowded and tired. bed was lumpy. but it was priced right and you get/got what you paid for

Insecure Wifi, dated decor, poor desk chair
Don't use the Wifi at this hotel for anything serious. Their system has several wide open ports. Room decor is dated and layout of room is cramped. Not up to the usual Red Lion standards.

Great location
Walking distance to downtown which we needed for the Ale Trail :). Front desk staff were quick, friendly knowledgeable of the area and helpful. Beds were super comfy, breakfast was a full hot breakfast in a nice clean dining room, hot tub is open year round and was very clean. Rooms were a little outdated but nice and not too cramped. No elevator so you have to hoof it but I personally didn't have a problem doing that. We actually ended up staying there again on our way back through Bend because we were so happy with it. Good value at $80 a night for double bed non smoking. Will stay there again!

Do the Bend Ale Trail but leave enough time for all the breweries, even the new ones not on the trail yet, what a fun time, I've done it twice now. A couple are a ways out so walking might not work but they have tours of the Ale Trail the hotel staff will tell you about if interested. Goooood beer!

Comfy bed and pillows
Good location to downtown. Easy drive to Redmond Airport. Nice staff. Very comfy bed! I wish I could have slept in longer, but I had a very early flight out. If in Bend again, would definetly stay here again.
