Bend for wedding

very friendly staff. I had cut my arm on the way to hotel not only did I receive more than one large size bandaids I was also given neosporeian without even asking. We arrived at 1 am to warmth and friendless. We would stay there again. There was not a micowave nor fridge. That would be the only improvement.

Southern Bend Hotel

Lobby is first rate; room door sticks, difficult to open. We were in a room in lowest level. Noisy. You could hear the TV of the person above us and every time they walked across the floor. Wi-fi company inserted ads into browser and I could not use flickr because it will not allow its content to be in a frame. However the wi-fi company was responsive to a call from the hotel and linked us to my IP address, bypassing the ad insertion. Bend has terrible numbering system for addresses so the hotel was difficult to find. A call to the hotel resulted in someone giving is directions as though we knew local businesses--instead of using cross-streets etc. Breakfast VERY limited. waffles, toast, one kind of dry cereal, hard-boiled egg. That is all. Staff very friendly.

OK motel

The bed was good and the air conditioning worked. We were only in town to see relatives and used the motel for sleeping.

Good location, great price

The La Quinta in Bend was clean, comfortable and had great staff. They had a good selection of breakfast items. They had cookies at 7:00 pm and my son was in heaven. The pool and hot tub were major selling points to us. They are very pet friendly.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

I highly recommend the High Desert Museum and also the Newberry Volcano as places of interest. They are not far from the La Quinta.

Clean and nice

This hotel is in a convenient location in town, with lots of amenities close by: Fred Meyer, Rite Aid, WalMart, Boston's, etc. The room was clean, but spartan, however it was all that I needed. I found the bed to be a bit soft, but that's a personal preference, not a complaint. The breakfast was nice, and kept up well through the breakfast morning. High speed internet worked well. Did not use the pool, but was indoors and looked nice and clean. Hotel staff was VERY pleasant and helpful. Fresh coffee available in the hotel lobby throughout the day. Warm cookies at 7pm. Perfect!

You won't be disappointed.

This is the second year in a row that I have stayed at the La Quinta in Bend, OR. I was in Bend in December to race my bicycle at the USA Cycling cyclo-cross national championships. Each of my stays were for four consecutive nights. I have had a good expierence every time I have stayed at this hotel. The rooms are clean, quite, well maintained with comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful. I like having free WIFI, the breakfast is good with a nice dining area. I always try to stay at nice hotels, and this hotel meets my standards of being nice. I have stayed at newer, more modern and expensive places, but for the price, the La Quinta meets all of my expectations. If I return to Bend, I would stay here again. I would be confident of quality lodging. The location of the hotel is good and if your looking for a decent place I think you won't be disappointed.

A fantastic place!

The beds were very great! The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we got there, the room that was mine was smoked in and they gave an upgrade with no fuss (and no extra cost). As stated in the description, this is a 100% smoke free hotel. The breakfast that was served there was really good and a big variety.

In this area there was a Walmart, grocery store, restaurants, gas station, and a post office (which was a little further from the others, but still within walking distance).

Not what it was advertised to be

The La Quita Inn that we stayed in was very dated and obviously had not had an upgrade in quite a while. There was black mold growing in the shower. The walls were very thin and we could hear the kids in the room next door until 1:00 am.
