Cheap but was it too cheap?
The comforter was really old - we actually used our own blankets. The room had wood walls and smelled like varnish. To talk with a person you had to talk with them through a window on their house which was odd, but would have been ok except she only cracked the window which made it hard to hear her. They did not have any info on the room - like how to connect to wifi, phone...etc. Shampoo and Conditioner not provided. No bedside tables as in the picture. Little lighting. Small AC unit which worked. This room fufilled our needs for a night, but I would probably look into a Motel 6 or equivalent next time.

Good value for the money
We were in Bend for a family reunion. The objective was to spend as much time with the people we hadn't seen in years and very little time in a hotel room. Also, we tried to stay at or below $50.00 a night. At the Value Inn, the room was $47.00 and we basically got what we paid for, maybe even a litte better than that. The rooms were all newly remodelled, had satellite TV, and free WIFI internet access. The beds are queen size and quite comfortable. The shower head was perhaps a little low, forcing us to squat to rinse our hair and at night the water was cold but it was hot for the morning shower. All in all, good value for the money. If you're trying to cut your travel budget, this place is a good choice.

Travelling through Oregon
OK place to sleep
[...] Rooms are fairly clean but bathroom was quite small. Had large fridge and small microwave. Beds seemed a little uncomfortable at first but we slept well after taking sleeping pills. It seems that there are lots of tenants who are there for weeks or months at a time.

Ranchero Mexican restaurant nearby has great food and cheap beer and margaritas during Happy Hour (3:30-6:00pm and 8:30pm to close).

A great weekend
Very professional service. Immediate help when needed from front desk with problem with safe. (Our fault). The room was very clean and adequately stocked with about everything that we needed for our stay including newspaper both days. Very good breakfast also.
