We were well pleased with our stay at the Phoenix Inn in Beaverton, OR. The room was very clean and quiet. The continental breakfast was varied and good. We will stay there again when we visit in Oregon.

Better than expected
My wife's sister, [...], is dying from cancer. We made the trip from Conn. to Oregon so she could see her sister one last time. The hotel was less than two miles from where [...] was staying. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The continental breakfast was excellent. The hotel made our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Great Stay
The hotel staff was friendly and effecient. The entire hotel was just finishing up a beautiful renovation. The complimentary breakfast was always quite satisfying with a wide variety of choices. The room was beautifulm, spacious and very clean.

Bon Vivant
Quality digs for less
I chose this hotel because of its location. Had stayed here on a prior trip to Portland. This visit I had time to check out a few other local hotels thinking that maybe I could find something better but it turns out the Phoenix Inn is comparable to other nearby hotels in upkeep and cleanliness but all around a better deal considering my room rate.

Spacious Rooms needing Better Cleaning
The staff was wonderful. The free breakfast was standard extended continental fare. The only downside was that the room wasn't as clean as it could have been. There was a cheetoh and debris under the coffee table, the shower curtain liner had that pinkish mold in a few seamss and we had to get housekeeping to clean the underside of the toilet. If the room had been cleaner I'd definitely rate it higher as the room was a fantastic size, nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. I'd stay again, but I'd go over the room to make sure the housekeeper had done a thorough job rather than a quick clean.
