convenient

I have stayed here many times, I know what to expect. It is not the fanciest hotel by any means, but it is convenient to my needs and it is clean. It can be a little noisy since it is right next to hwy 217, but I can always go to sleep regardless. I like the price, would like to see them update some things, but not at such an expense that they would have to raise rates significantly.

Clean, comfortable, and economical

Nothing fancy about this place. Spartan, but clean comfortable, and economical, and that's all we were looking for. We only slept there between events at a friend's home nearby, and it was perfect for that purpose.

Not bad for the price

I was just in for one night, prior to bringing my daughter home from Portland. I had asked for a smoking room, and apparently it wasn't available,so I had to stand in the rain to smoke, which was inconvenient and cold, but all in all, the hotel was fine, the bed and pillows were SUPER comfortable. I'll definitely stay there again!

BAD

I stayed in the hotel a lot while my daughter was out with friends. The room was really old, the whole place looks a little run down from the outside. The office and breakfast areas are nice, but the rooms could use an update.

Cold night at the Peppertree

I stayed there on a very cold evening. The heater in the room was not cutting it. I spoke to the staff and they got me new room. I am very thankful.

Stay At Home if you have to stay here

The room was dated. The bed was worn out and lumpy. The sink had no hot water. The chair in the room had no cushion and you nearly sat on the floor when you sat in it. No hair dryer. Dirty face cloth left hanging in the bathroom. Been on the road for 2 weeks by far the worst hotel we stayed in. Breakfast was OK

Good value, right off freeway

The only negative about this stay was that we could hear some noise from the adjoining room, but it was not enough to keep us awake! If it is important to you, there are no restaurants within walking distance, but there are many that are only a short drive. The room had many extras such as fridge, microwave, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, etc.

Good value for your buck

The location was perfect, just blocks away from my client. The pluses were that it was inexpensive, they had Wireless G or N at no extra cost and waffle maker ready to go at 6 AM. The downside is that it is a Motel and you have to lower your standards. The shower runs hot and cold, if you pull on the towels too quickly the bar falls out of the wall and your morning orange juice is way watered down. If you can do without amenities, it's a good place to stay.

There isn't much to choose from for dining at this exit. I suggest going up or down the freeway a couple exits.

Reasonable value for the price

The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. The rooms on the side by the freeway would likely be loud but the courtyard was quiet enough and there are also rooms in the back that may be even quieter. The location is convenient. The bed was uneven but had a nice coverlet. The room was clean enough but not spotless. This is nothing special but I would stay there again for business travel because it is a good value for the price.
