Bad news at Microtel
Upon checking in at Microtel, I was given a key to my room. I went to the room, opened the door, and found an unmade bed, and cups and trash around the room. I went immediately back to check-in where I received no apology but a second room. I
should have checked the room but at least the bed was made and no trash was about. When ready to go to bed, I pulled down the covers and found somewhat fresh stains (never been laundered) on the sheets. YUCK!! Luckily, I now had a second bed to check. I saw some suspect areas and decided to sleep in my clothes on top of the blankets since it was now 11 pm and I was told earlier that they had no rooms left and this one was the room they showed to potential guests. I also found that the toilet seat was cracked and would gap slightly. This was unsanitary and dangerous for pinching. I decided to take a shower in the morning and found random black hairs on my 'clean' towels. Forget the shower and get away. I alerted the staff to these problems and all I was told was I'll need to check who cleaned the room.

good hotel
Had some problems checking in - electronic bugs. The beds were very comfortable and the area was in a very quiet location right off the freeway. Would recommend the hotel

This hotel was surprisingly nice for the price paid. It was a one-night stopover stay...I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay, but for a short stay at a good rate, it is nice.
