Very nice hotel, spacious room--fantastic staff.
The room at this hotel was very nice, spacious, and the staff was outstanding. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Buy the meal plan--for 3.00, you will save a lot of money, and the food was great! My only complaint was the bed was like rocks. Other than the bed, everything was beautiful and perfect!

Good location and good price
Hilton Garden Inn has always been our first choice and where we stay when we have late appointments in Portland. We always find clean rooms and Very Comfortable beds. This time we were 'given' a room for handicap access {not needed and not requested by us}. Most noticable changes in room being bathroom..no counters, no tub. This is the first time we've had plumbing difficulties ..both sink and stool.

Reasonable Rates, Comfy Beds, Good Sleep
We didn't spend very much time in the hotel, so we didn't have that much interaction with staff or much of a chance to make use of hotel facilities. What we did see and use seemed very nice, although floors may be a bit thin - each night we could hear what sounded like energetic folk racing back and forth on the floor above us. Perhaps just a matter of timing. Desk person was helpful when we were looking for a pharmacy, however, we believe the map may be incorrect. The map has Elmers restaurant and another business across a main highway (158th?) from the Shell Station when they are on the same side. We're only visitors to the area - we could be wrong, but the hotel might want to check it out. Clean overall. Carpets a little old, maybe, both in halls and room. (They smelled in one tiny area in the room - probably a spill, but that can't always be helped.) Nice inviting lobby with fire going as we walked in.

Money-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
We like to save money when on a trip of more than one day by buying some groceries and doing some meals that way - either in the hotel room a la microwave or outside on a picnic. Great and fun way to see a new city and that way you only have one meal a day, at most, to fork out your hard earned cash for.

OK for business
This hotel is fine if you have business in the area. The location is typical suburban with lots of chain restaurants, and strip malls. If you want some character, stay in Portland. Breakfast is $10.00, somewhat overpriced.

Clean, Modern, Excellent Breakfast
The place was easy to find and the staff was helpful giving us directions to other places. All you can eat breakfast was included on our deal and we really enjoyed it: eggs, waffles, french toast, fruit, you name it.
