I have been a loyal customer of the Astoria Dunes Motel Since 2006. I stay there everytime I got to Astoria which has been over 10 times. I called in Jan 2011 to make a reservation for the weekend of April 29th. I was quoted a rate of $88.00 per
night plus tax. When I went to check in this weekend they told me the rates went up to $157.00 per night as they had new management. I waited for an hour to speak to the manager. I never got to speak to the manager face to face as he or she never came out of the back as they spoke to the receptionist thru the phone only. As a repeat customer you would think they would honor the rate given to me months before. They did not! I will never stay here again and I will tell everyone I know that they have horrible business practices!

Great Value
Aside from the constant traffic noise (it's right on U.S. 30/101), this is an ideal hotel for exploring Astoria or the nearby coastal towns and the Lewis and Clark Trail.
