Not bad for the price

hotel was clean and fairly comfortable. It's a bit outdated, but not run down. It is a short drive to downtown Ashland, only a few miles from the Shakespearean festival and shopping. My only complaint was the continental breakfast. The only items were waffles, toast or cereal.

Noisy fan

Room was basic and (barely acceptable) However, the bath compartment had an extremely noisy and irritating fan which obviously needed oil or a replacement. It was either put up with the annoyance or use the facilities (toilet and tub/shower) in a totally black space.

Clean and Comfortable

The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The only negative was painfully slow wifi. They promised to check it out and fix it. The breakfast was pretty typical, flakes and waffles.

not impressed !

As we went to Ashland for a wedding, & needed area to hang clothing it was either hang your clothes and not have sink area to work with. No room for suit case unless we used the tables as hanging clothes & sink left no working area. Bathroom was like a closet, water hard to set, Toilet either wouldn't flush or ran. Personally I have stayed in nicer rooms for the money I spent.

Good place to stay

Passing through on a road trip, staying for one night. Conveniently located near the Fwy, nice open surroundings, yet close enough to downtown. Friendly staff, spacious room, space to let our dog run, nice breakfast room with Belgian waffle maker. Very good!

Nice, new, and very clean

Appeared to be new and was very nice with a comfortable bed. TV and wireless internet service were good, as was the shower. They were pet friendly, but the was some question about a $10 extra charge for a small dog, which wasn't indicated on [...].
