Good value, Comfortable bed

Nice pillow-top bed and nice white linens, very comfortable. This hotel is on the outskirts of town, but is relatively close to the University, businesses, and not that far from downtown. It's pet friendly with a nice area to walk your dog. It's a very large facility and many of the buildings are under renovation right now, but that didn't affect our stay. Good economic choice.

Convenient, outstanding staff, spacious comfort, with our pet

Excellent service and attention at a quiet, pleasant, location, with spacious rooms, all the comforts. Short drive to Skakespeare; near freeway. Definitely would stay again for the value and convenience. They were happy to welcome our small poodle.

Needs a renovation

Very outdated, but spacious room. Good bargain, but it would be an even better bargain if the room was updated.

Scrumptious bedding.

Pretty grounds; nice complimentary breakfast snack; clean rooms; quiet. The best part was the sheets (SOFT) and the number of soft, downy pillows (more than adequate), along with the down comforter and blankets. Love this place and I will come back again.

Not walking distance to town but don't let that dissuade you from staying here.

excellent value

in spite of being located at the back section of an old shut down hotel, this is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are spacious, the property is clean and well maintained, the grounds are beautiful. Hard to find, but well worth the effort.

Great place!

This will be my new 'regular' place to stay when driving back and forth between Portland and Central California. Very comfortable - lovely staff - perfect access to Interstate 5 and pet friendly.

roomy good value

Wanted a separate room for child- this fit the bill with a separate bedroom and living room with sofa bed. Mini kitchen as well. Clean, super comfy bed, quiet. I accidentally submitted a review saying it was noisy - but that was a different hotel I stayed at the night before. This was super quiet. Pool not open until next summer, but they deliver a nice basket of breakfast snacks, fruit, bars, bread for toast, orange juices and any hot drinks you want. Nice quiet location.

value, but noisy

This hotel was a steal at 59 bucks with shuttle service, etc. But I found the reason for the low price - we could not sleep. It wasn't really the hotel's fault. There is a sports bar there, and when you are on the first floor, you hear the people leaving until after 2 a.m., talking loudly on the way to their car. Maybe request a higher floor. We also had people upstairs stomping around at all hours. Additionally, a train goes by and I don't know if they HAVE to blow those horn things, but 2 a.m. , 3 a.m., 4 a.m., sure, why not - it isn't like anyone is trying to sleep. I thought it helped to leave the tv on to drown out the other noise. The other hotels in the same area probably have the same issues - I'd request top floor- probably quieter.
