Value Place is an extended-stay hotel. Our rates are priced for a minimum one week stay, and are not adjusted to a daily rate if the stay is less than one week. When your stay goes into the next week, another weekly rate is charged. However, even though many people decide to stay with us for months, many guests staying less than one week find us less expensive than traditional hotels. Room fees and a 100.00 USD refundable deposit are due at time of arrival. The 100.00 USD deposit is charged upon move in even if the room is placed on a credit card hold. Deposit is refunded at move out pending no damages or owed charges. Front desk hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM, Saturday 10AM-2PM and closed Sunday. After hours move-in must call extension 500 and the security guard will be paged to assist guests. Enjoy your stay in a clean, safe, and economical environment.

Our stay in Tulsa
The hotel was well maintained. The after hours staff were friendly but not overly helpful. It definitely was "just the basics". There were no frills at all and no "little extras".

Nightmare stay
The Tulsa Value Place property at first glance is a very nice hotel in a fairly central location. Unfortunately there were some problems that surfaced during our stay. Due to a loss of electricity throughout the Tulsa area there was no
electricity, heat, hot water or emergency lighting in this building for 4 days. There was no effort made by the staff to check on our welfare (or the fact that we might still be in a room) or to ask if we needed additional blankets, other assistance, etc. Building access was left open for any non-guests to enter the facility on at least 2 seperate days during the power outage with no security provided for the occupants. After power was restored and we checked out, we asked management concerning our bill during this time and were informed that there would be no compensation credited to our bill. Overall this hotel and possibly the entire chain of hotels is totally unprepared for even minor outages of power with no outside sources of power or heat or even assistance for their customers.

No frills - No Safety
This is a no-frills hotel. We did not expect no room service at all! There was hardly any desk service or any staff member available to answer any questions. We asked for extra pillows and blankets and were told they didn't have any. The hotel
was not full and they could have taken extras from an empty room. We had to buy what we needed. During our stay the Tulsa Area lost power. There were no staff to help us, no emergency lighting in the hallways or stairwells, no heat or hot water. We were stranded on the fourth floor in the dark. My husband is disabled and it was horrible not to have any elevator or personnel to help with baggage. There was no one to tell us what was happening in an emergency situation, nor was the hotel equipped to handle one. The only good thing was the location suited our needs.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
Great shopping and dining nearby. Fourt-first Street shopping district, Woodland Mall, Utica Square. The Tulsa airport was 5 miles away.

Dirty Room
The appearance seemed comfortable. Checked in after 11:30 pm and pulled down bed covers for my nights' stay. The bed sheets were VERY dirty with pieces of human hairs in it. I did not stay. Called for a ride and checked out. I did take the hotel
worker inside my room to examine the bed sheets. As I mentioned to her, as tired as I was that night I do not sleep on dirty sheets at home and certainly would not sleep in a bed used previously by a stranger.
