Great Facility But....
GK Aug 24, 2009
Great Hotel and services. However, I had reserved a room with 2 double beds non-smoking. At check in I was told only a room ... with King Bed was available and they would bring in a roll away bed. I told the front desk that was not what my reservation stated, what could they do as I had 3 people in that room. Only solution they had was the roll away bed or a smoking room. It was frustrating not getting the room I had booked and to have my 6'3" 250 lbs son have to sleep on a roll away bed!

Non-smoking rooms are not guaranteed
dthurney Aug 12, 2009
Booked a "King bed-nonsmoking" room far in advance only to find that they had all been given away before our arrival. Upon ... arrival, the front desk clerk was pre-occupied with paperwork. When she was ready to help she was unsympathetic and provided limited options. She could not help me with the reservations since I had made them myself online. I was given a key to the business room to check or cancel my reservation but it was a non-refundable reservation. Since I had later booked a second night through the hotel, I asked if I could move to a non-smoking room on the next day - again she could not guarantee a non-smoking room. They then provided an ozone machine and asked that we allow it 45 minutes to run before entering the room. When we did enter the room we found the toilet running because the toilet chain had come off. There were dirt and plumbing debris in the tub. Not sure if the ozone machine helped - later a maid knocked and opened the door (without waiting for us to even answer the door) to our room to retrieve it for other rooms. This was the opposite of good experience we had in September of 2008. However, we will not be back. There are other 3 star non-smoking options nearby.

There is a short walking trail immediately behind the facility and the office park location is great for jogging. Also within walking distance is a shopping center with drug store and liquor store but the one nearby restaurant is on the expensive side.

Convienient location
Naomi Jul 29, 2009
It was just a nuisance to have to call the desk to say we do not have wash cloths, there was no sugar left to sweeten the tea ... or coffee, cream the first day only until I called, dirty used glass on the patio. Then the sheets were never changed Saturday or Sunday. Since I am a Hyatt member I felt I should have had a upgrade to the complimentary breakfast to say the least.

Balcony a joke
Ace Jul 20, 2009
The location was okay except the ambulances kept us up at night as there's a large hospital across the street. The parking ... garage is a long way from the lobby elevators. The beds were comfy and the coffee good. Other than that, the rooms are outdated and had no fridge. We only got 1 towel each and the balcony was a joke......a tiny cement pad without even a plastic chair isn't a balcony!!! I would NOT stay at this hotel again.

Beautiful setting
jvaldez May 26, 2009
This hotel is in a beautiful upscale office park, and sits far enough off of the busy street that it is quiet and peaceful. ... Behind the hotel is a park with a creek and walking trail, and because it is shielded from the street by the hotel itself, this area is incredibly quiet. The rooms were extremely clean, and the staff was helpful and professional. I will absolutely choose this hotel for my next stay in Tulsa.

Secluded yet Convenient
Diana Nov 15, 2008
The Doubletree in Tulsa was awash in colorful fall leaves! The building is elegant and yet inviting. We found our corner ... room to be like an escape away from the ordinary. The staff was polite, friendly and efficient. I liked the big picture windows looking out on the manicured lawn and georgeous trees. The bedding was luxurious and comfortable. I liked the see-through shower curtain in the bath. Shopping was only a short drive away as were varied restaurants. If we had been able to stay a couple of days, I definitely would have utilized the walking/joggig trail out back. Also, a friend recommended the downstairs inclosed pool as one not to miss.
