Perfect for BOK events....

It was perfect for the Katy Perry concert. The BOK Center is with in walking distance. Parking was not an issue. The staff was friendly. A basic room with basic amenities. It would have been nice to have a fridge in the double bed room. However the beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean minus the stains on the carpet. I would recommend this hotel for the purpose of having a bed and shower. I would not recommend for a long stay. BTW, the restuarant is super expensive for the quality of food. However the warm cookies are a nice treat.

A night at the Doubletree Tulsa

We stayed for a night at the Doubletree in Tulsa to see a concert at the BOK Center. The hotel was fairly easy to find with a good googlemap. We arrived in later afternoon on a Saturday (the concert was that night). There was plenty of parking at the time but it does cost $7 per day. The staff were very friendly and quickly got us checked in and off to our room (and gave us delicious cookies). We got a reasonable rate for a 'nicer' hotel ($114) but our room was next to the ice machine (ugh!) and the elevators so we had a lot of foot traffic but it wasn't too bad. The room was comfortable and neatly arranged. The bathroom was a little small but well appointed but as I looked closer when I wasn't as tired it needed a more thorough cleaning. The beds were too hard but the pillows and linens were comfy. What we really liked was that the hotel was an easy walk away from the BOK and many hotel guests were traversing back and forth as we were so that made us feel safer. Cable was good and had HBO. Internet is extra and we didn't bother for just an overnight stay. Taxes and parking bumped us up to about $140 for the night but for a fairly comfortable stay and a safe stay without a lot of riff raff it was reasonable for the Tulsa area. I would stay here again but not for more than what we paid that night - Hampton Inn's beds are much better but the Hamptom Inn was further away...

Friendly Customer Service

We did not stay long enough to experience the hotel. But for the short time, they were one of the friendliest hotels we've stayed at. The staff was very helpful in giving us ideas on this things to do. The cookies were great!

Comfortable, relaxing, clean

I arrived very late (1am) but they were ready and friendly. Warm cookies helped. Room was clean and a very nice way to crash after a long day of flying. Fitness center also nice, easy to get to. Machines up to date. Towels, water. Shuttle service a plus. I asked for a cab to take me to my meeting downtown and they dropped me off in the shuttle instead...no charge! I tipped of course but a nice touch.

doubletree review

Well I booked the hotel for my wedding night. My friend Angela Rogers book with the same hotel because she was there for the wedding. They ended up getting their room comped as well as room service because they didnt get their coffee order right with room service order. Then when you walked down the hall there were food trays in the hall way and trash outside in the hall as well. My experience was that we had to fight a pee wee football team just to get in the room. we had to pay for parking which was not detailed in the description of hotel. There was a burned out light bulb burned out in our room and we couldnt get the temp right in our room all night. They dont offer a free breakfast with room nor was there a microwave or small fridge in our room that i have always had even with the cheapest of hotels. I was very surprised that for the price we paid we really didnt much for our money. I would not book this hotel again.
