Aloft is what it means

Loved the hotel.. only thing was.. only a sliding door on the bathroom that doesnt close all the way. Hope your staying with people who are not shy. Lounge was nice... so was patio... bar tender wasnt to generous with the wine even after a good tip.. but ok, whatever. Id stay there again.

very clean and nice

The hotel when you walk in is very modern and has a lot of flare everything seems very well maintained. As for the room very nice as well very comfortable beds and the only the that could've been in proved on in my opinion is the view but other than that minor flaw I will definitely be a repeat costomer.

Mom and dad getaway

Had to change rooms several times before we got a room where everything was in working order. Never was able to connect our computer to the TV like advertised. Nice enough for business travel but not the romantic stay we had hoped for.

Aloft

My friend and I were there to see a concert since we couldn't see the concert in our hometown. We decided to stay at the Aloft since it was new and has a "hip" vibe. The hotel was very hip and enjoyable. The beds were GREAT. The 2 Queen bedroom area was a little small but was fine for 2 adults. The bathroom was nice. Overall, the experience was great especially for the price we paid.

modern, upbeat, clean, fun

This is a very upbeat and modern hotel. As soon as you walk into the lobby/front desk, you'll know what I mean. There's a wide open space with a bar and lounge area with lights. There's dance music (not as loud or annoying like a club, but definitely not quiet either). The rooms are separate from this area so you won't be bothered by the noise. The room is setup like an efficiency apartment. There's a big divider between the bathroom area and the bedroom. The wash area has a bowl sink and a sliding door to the bathroom. The bathroom has a glass door between the toilet area and the shower area. There's also a frosted glass wall opposite the shower head that goes to the bedroom area. You can see silhouettes, so if you need more privacy than that with your roommate, don't stay here. Our shower leaked water pretty bad to the area outside. As soon as I stepped out of the shower, the floor towel was soaked and there was water collecting beside the toilet. It might have been a sealant problem. The king bed is centered in the room with the headboard being the room divider. It has a couple reading lights above and the switch is just above the knight stand on either side. It's easy to sit back and watch the nice HD TV hung on the wall. On the desk, there are hookups for you to connect audio/video cables like HDMI, RCA, and a VGA port (I'm pretty sure it was VGA). There are 2 high windows in each corner opposite the bed with rolling shades. They do a decent job of keeping sunlight out, but they don't black out the room like they should. So in the morning, bright rays seep through. It is a little too bright during the day when you're watching TV though. We kept our shades barely up to let in a little light but not enough to blind you while you're watching TV. Location-wise it's in a nice area. We were in Tulsa for the March Madness tournament at the BOK center which was about a good 15-20 minutes away. The hotels downtown hiked up their prices for the tournament, so we stayed here. There's a Super Target where you can get groceries (there's a small fridge beneath the sink and a microwave in the lobby snack area). The Woodland mall is less than 2 miles away. There's tons of restaurants around. It's a happening neighborhood.

A nice change from the traditional hotel

The staff was courteous and decent at check-in, even around midnight. The appearance, outside and inside, was definitely appealing. As we walked into the room, the bathroom really caught our eyes. The room was full of straight lines, the bed was comfortable like at home, and the entire room just impressed us. The only minor issue was that the shower door did not close completely which allowed some water to leak onto the floor. Hotel stay at Aloft = Best stay by far!

Excellent Stay

I stayed at an Aloft a few months prior to this stay, and it's the reason I chose an Aloft on my trip to Tulsa. I love this hotel. Their contemporary design is refreshing and unique, and I love the amenities they provide for their guests. For the Aloft Tulsa, the front desk representatives were incredibly friendly and polite, which goes a long way when you're exhausted from traveling. The beds were very comfortable, and the location puts you right by a mall, but away from the traffic.
