Economy airport-area hotel with free breakfast and free Internet access
Visitors to State Fair Park enjoy the close proximity of the La Quinta Inn Oklahoma City Airport, which is also convenient to the airport and downtown. Let the kids indulge in arcade games, batting cages, bumper boats, go-karts and miniature golf at Celebration Station, adjacent to the hotel. Nearby Restaurant Row offers a great mix of eateries - try OKC specialties like Tex-Mex, barbeque and chicken-fried steak. Then head back to the La Quinta Inn Oklahoma City Airport for a dip in the pool or a quiet evening in the courtyard gazebo.

Disappointed
Location of the hotel was convenient to the airport, but we were very disappointed in that the pool wasn't filled yet. The internet was down because of a storm, which is understandable, but they weren't in a hurry to fix it when I asked about it. I went to get ice, opened the lid and there was someone else's garbage in it. There was also a dirty washcloth hanging on the shower curtain. Not impressed. We ended up leaving and getting another hotel room.

Nice place, good location
This is a nice hotel in a good location. The rooms are a bit small, and by having a clothes rack rather than a closet, it appears that it was once a Holiday Inn. However, it has a bar next door, many restaurants in the area, and a great location right off the expressway (I-40). Clean rooms and a friendly staff, so all in all a good place to stay, at a good price.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Just down the street and around the corner is a great Cajun themed restaurant, with just signs saying Fish, and Fish Camp outside. They had great oysters and Cajun food, all in a very unique and pleasant setting, at reasonable prices, with great service. I highly recommend this place. It is a division of Pearl's Oyster House, if you need to look it up.

correct your check in times!
my itinerary stated check in at 1pm, I arrived at 1 pm. check in was 3pm, the room wasnt ready until 4pm. Three hours in the parking lot did nothing to improve my trip. Apart from that the room was as expected.

Long Road Trip
This was the end of a long road trip that day. I got to the hotel at 2:30 AM after spending 14 hours on the road. I was told that my confirmed reservation was only good till 2:00 AM. They did have a room for me, but I had to fill out additional paper work. I booked the hotel online and nothing in their paperwork indicated that the confirmation was only good thru 2:00 AM. I had never heard of this type of restriction.

taxi to downtown okc was 24.00 dollars for two people (so if you can get a driver do, or stay closer:) this motels staff was very nice:):)

Great value, great for dogs, Clean
Staff were pretty friendly, gladly changed the double beds to a king for no extra charge (which is usually the case). Great courtyard for running dogs around..easy access to car made it easy to unpack/pack since we were just traveling through the city...great location to highway..overall very satisfied with stay. Bathroom was a little dirty in corners however, sheets were clean and beds comfy.

Not the typical LaQuinta
Non-smoking room apparently wasn't, A/C didn't work, and dying cricket on counter. Changed rooms. A/C worked, but toilet didn't flush, room was dusty dirty, no large towels available, even at front desk. Was provided a small stack of hand towels, which made it difficult to dry after shower! Will stay at LQ again, but probably not at this one, without thorough personal inspection before paying. By the way, I filled their small plastic garbage container with water to flush the toilet.
