A place to sleep

The staff was nice and friendly. The rooms really need to be renovated. But if you are just looking for a room with a shower it's a good deal. The location is good for dinning and not far from the major highways.

Really trashy

The state or health department really needs to check this motel. It was horribly dirty. Carpets were NASTY. There was mold on the shower curtain, no heat in one room. It's in a good location but wasn't worth the stay. Booked for 3 nights but only stayed 2. Couldn't take it. Rooms smelled bad, there weren't any coffee pots, toilet tipped when you sat on it. Proves you get exactly what you pay for. Will never stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone, EVER. Very, very disappointed.

Well, it could be worse

Having read other reviews of this hotel, my expectations were not so high upon arrival. However, my room was reasonably clean, the shower and AC worked wonderfully, and the staff was friendly. If you are looking for a cheap room and don't mind a little "character", this place is right off I-35 and convenient. I chuckled at the continental breakfast options: a single, curled up frozen waffle, stale maple glazed donuts, and half a loaf of wonder bread. Yet the coffee was bearable and 10 seconds in the microwave does wonders for those donuts!

Expect A Cheap Hotel

I will admit I am naive, but despite being a two star hotel I booked it for my wife, my 2 year old & I booked through Orbitz, based on positive reviews. The room, though not horrible was not fit for anyone with moderate hotel taste, the sheets were clearly over used & had a cigarette burn. The manager was understanding, and I have no qualms with the service - but this hotel is not fit for families at all. I wound up eating the cost of the hotel ($45 total) because I booked through Orbitz the day before and spending the night elsewhere.

No Frills

No Coffee Pot in Room. Had to pay an additional $5 per night for a room with a refrigerator and microwave which was listed as a standard amenity. Breakfast was a choice of muffin or frozen waffle. Coffee was weak and almost always empty. However for the price it was not a bad deal if you don't mind doing without some things.
