Drive up & check in was very convenient. The Amex pre-payment did not come across in the set-up but Hampton could see the Amex number and placed my charges on the card----no problem, front end had to get OK from Manager. Great, nice place to stay. While I was on business, this would be a place I would come back to. Great location to ballpark, restruants, clubs, etc. Very enjoyable stay.

Nice clean and relaxing
We stayed Saturday through Tuesday. Saturday night we didn't sleep at all because of the bars surrounding the hotel. Lots of general drunk people noises. Further, the pool and hottub were essentially unusable due to the amount of kids and families in the pool. Would have been great if we brought our kids, but it was supposed to be a romantic get-a-way. By Sunday night, all was quiet and we had were able to relax in the hottub without anyone else! Staff could have been more helpful on Sunday and Monday. Acted very distracted. I asked for help getting some tickets to a basketball game and was told rather rudely - "Go to Ford and ask?!"

Good Hotel for a Family
Easy check-in. Kids loved the "CoolPool". Close to lots of dining options. Complimentary hot breakfast. Only complaint is that the room's heater didn't seem to work. Called the front-desk, and they told us how to set it, but never sent anyone up to check on it. Other than that, it was a great stay.

great hotel for the family
We were in town for our son's wrestling tournament. The kids loved the pool. We had a couple of activities planned in town before we left but the kids decided they would rather swim in the pool which saved us a ton of money. The hotel should really find a way to capitalize on this. My suggestion would be to promote their snack bar better or provide a lunch bar. The hotel could charge money for a lunch bar with sandwich items or soup or salad.

Hampton Inn
Everything was good until we came back to the hotel about 10:00pm. We went to bed and could hear a group of people talking and being very loud in a room nearby. We kept thinking they would finally go to sleep and finally around 3 am it was quiet enough to sleep. Everything was fine except the fact that I did not get any sleep

Great room for the price
The beds are very comfortable and the room was great for the price. You can't beat the location in downtown. The only negative thing is that you have to pay for parking at the hotel.
